Have been trying to get to this place for a while. Always something came up. It has not at all disappointed me. Great staff and food is really good. Just make sure you don't sit next to some loud expats

We are looking forward til when they open again, but even so, we are ordering at home. The food is really good. Today we had by other some mushrooms with spinach I expected to be boring, but it was delicious! Thanks.

Totally delicious indian food, the best one I have had in Luxembourg so far. I had chicken Tikka Massala and cheese naan and they were so good. Warm welcome and very friendly staff. Not the most beatiful restaurant however, but the delicious food makes it...up for it. I will come back.More

I have been coming here 11 years. Consistently good, amazing friendly staff. Everything on the menu is worth trying if you like Indian/Nepalese cuisine.

Best indian in Luxembourg!!! Always friendly staff and delicious indian food. Very generous portions, so always happy to have an indian lunch the day after. I tried several indian restaurants world wide, but nobody was as good as Tibet from Luxembourg.

Don't expect gourmet food, or fancy interior - but if you are looking for a nice and friendly place for a lunch that will not cost you a fortune, this is an excellent option. We went for the buffet which offered a few options, both...vegetarian and with meat. Everything very tasty. Staff extremely friendly and polite. Great value for money.More

I was firstly very pleasantly surprised to see Authentic Butter Tea at the restaurant- this isnt common at all! We ate Veg Momos, which were freshly made and delicious- the sauce was perfectly spicy and the consistency was also perfect. Tbe Momos come with a...few fruit pieces- melon, kiwi, orange which offered a fantastic contrast. We also had the Hot and Sour soup- which was really hot and sour and delicious! Excellent friendly service, very easily accessible by public transport! Thank you for a great meal!More

While there is certainly nothing wrong with Indian food, it does tend to get a bit boring as every Indian restaurant seems to offer the same dishes with barely any variation. Restaurant Tibet is not any different when it comes to this, as most of...their foods are Indian as well, but they do have a whole page on their menu reserved for Tibetan dishes. My mom and I decided to give those a try, and we were quite surprised. The similarities to Indian food are definitely there, but the Bhutanese sauce, which consists mainly of cheese, makes quite a difference. I myself had the Bhutanese Cheese Soup, which was a delicious mix of cheese and vegetables, while my mom skipped the soup and went for the Fried Prawns for starters. I had picked the Chicken Satay, with the meat almost melting in my mouth. For the main course, my mom had Beef in Bhutanese Sauce, and my choice was the Chicken with Garlic & Chili. I asked for it to be extra spicy, as I like my food to be hot, and I wasn't disappointed. While it didn't have an immediate kick, it did have a very nice afterburn which lasted for quite some time. We finished our dinner with the Mix Dessert, which had samples of all their Indian desserts, along with melon, kiwi and vanilla ice cream. Price was reasonable, considering the restaurant is in the middle of Luxembourg City. Parking shouldn't be an issue, with the Martyrs parking garage nearby, offering 250 places. We were lucky to find a spot nearby, though, and as it was on a Saturday evening, we didn't have to pay either. Service was very friendly, waiting times were fine, although the restaurant was rather empty when we came. The only downside is that most of the dining tables are in a rather large and open room, leaving no room for privacy or intimacy, and I imagine it could get quite loud in there if the place is full.More

We'd eaten plenty of Nepalese food but never had Tibetan, so decided to try Restaurant Tibet. The decor is authentic and the staff were really welcoming and friendly and happy to speak in English (as my French is somewhat lacking!) We were served complimentary, traditional...chickpea poppadoms with our drinks - beware of the onion chutney though, it has a real kick of spice! We didn't have to wait long before our starter was served; the mixed platter sharing starter of tempura-style chicken, prawn, and large chillies as well as vegetable spring rolls and vegetable and cheese samosas, which were particularly delicious! We chose from the Tibetan menu for our mains; fish with vegetables which is served in a sweet and sour style sauce, beef in Bhutanese sauce, which was mild and very cheesy, vegetable noodles and a large naan, with rice provided as an accompaniment. The meat and fish portions were very generous (they seemed to be never ending!) and the naan was tasty - less sweet than some, with a more savoury 'wholemeal' flavour. The dessert menu offers a selection of traditional choices but unfortunately we didn't have any room left to eat anything else!! The above came to just over €70 with drinks - payment by card is accepted.More
