One of the best restaurants in the region, with impeccable service and serving typical dishes of Luxembourg cuisine very well prepared and presented. Located within the Hotel Vitor Hugo, near parking lots and with an attractive price for the quality offered. Highly recommend this restaurant on your next visit to the Chateau de Vianden. Great for family or friends.

We were looking for somewhere charming, romantic with good food and the Victor Hugo ticked all the boxes. The restaurant is beautiful and tastefully decorated and quite romantic. The food was excellent (although slightly overpriced, the Ardenne snails are a nice starter)...and large portions were served. I had the pork neck which was perfect. The house wine was palatable and... More

Stopped for a quick drink in the bar area as there was nothing else open around low season. Can't comment on the food which was served in another dining room which looked beautifully set up. OK for a quiet drink.

A lovely spot on a sunny day that, as well as inside seating, has tables set up along the riverbank providing good river and castle views. We had coffee here after getting off the bus and prior to walking to the chairlift base station. Very pleasant, could have stayed for awhile longer.

The Duck in orange sauce was excellent! We had a bottle of a Bordeaux that was out of this world that did not break the bank.

This is a bit nicer than some in town but priced about with the town average. The food and wines are on the upper end of what is available. The duck is superb; it could be one of the best preparations I have had.

After booking for 4 nights in this hotel at a non-refundable rate, we asked this hotel to cancel the room. The management agreed to cancel the room free of any charge. We really appreciate their attitude.

The prices are a bit higher than elsewhere in the town, but real value for money. Just have a look at the menus of other places and you see a lot of tourist crap being offered, even Dutch snacks! This restaurant though was a very nice surprise. We had the salmon and the St.Jacob shells with scampi and both dishes... More

Centrally located beside the bridge in this attractive town. In fine weather there are tables on the pavement overlooking the river with a good view of the castle on the hill above. These are fine for a drink and a snack but for a full meal I prefer the restaurant or the quiet terrace at the rear of the hotel... More

Stopped by for lunch after taking the chairlift of to the castle. My wife had the shrimp and prawn salad which was huge and absolutely wonderful. My son had a great Cordon Bleu, I had the ham plate with salad and again the meal was fantastic. We sat in the shady back terrasse and it was just fantastic. Highly recommend.
