Best pasta ever. We've been living in Malta for 6 years and that is the best place where to eat pasta, fish or even meat. Busy, noisy, but frank and friendly. Don't order desserts, find some other place. Enjoy your time in Da Pippo

Never disappoints. Could not wait to delve into my seafood pasta (their specialty) so I apologize for lack of photos. If you do not mind not being supplied with a menu and the frenetic pace of the service and the noisy atmosphere, then very few places match this place for lunch. Locals love it and sometimes it looks like half... More

I loved the ambience of this tiny restaurant. We were never shown a menu or wine list but had a superb meal with a delicious wine. We had no idea how much lunch was until the bill came and were pleasantly surprised at how moderate it was. Top marks from us.

Had lunch here today. The waiter asked us what sort of food we liked so we told him. When we are abroad we're quite happy to be surprised when we get to eat what the locals eat. The prices are on the high side for Malta, but a lot cheaper than what you'd be used to if you were from... More

This was recommended by friends who know Malta well - and in fact are half Maltese and who had arranged to meet us there. It's only open for lunch- and is chocker block. Booking is essential and even then don't be surprised if they give away your table / squeeze you in a corner- but the food is good -... More

We were a little early for lunch and they were not quite open yet but we were welcomed in to sit and enjoy some antipasto and wine while they got ready for lunch. Pasta with calamari was recommended and with good reason. Very tasty. Don't expect to be fussed over. This place is for locals who know the food is... More

The place is great. Although simply decorated, it is great fun and the atmosphere is good. Various art pieces decorate the walls. The food is simply divine and devoid of any unnecessary cream or oil. It is simply cooked to perfection.

My husband and I enjoyed lunch at Da Pippo's last week and really enjoyed the whole experience. It is a truly authentic Italian family restaurant with no menu, but amazing food and service.
