Came across this little place during the Christmas break and decided to give it a try and I must say that it was well worth it. The staff were very friendly and the service was good. We had pork fillet, pasta and chicken which the kids really enjoyed. The coffees were good too. Keep up the hard work!

Fabulous and interesting food with very friendly service. Just right. We were lucky to get a late booking on a busy night. Being NYE it was a limited menu but everything was delicious - we tried it all between us - and great value too.

Found this little gem on the 2nd night of our 3 night stay and we loved it the staff were so friendly, the house wine was lovely! We were not rushed and the staff asked if we were ready before serving our food! The lamb was the best that we have ever had! It was so good that when it... More

Went as a group for a celebration dinner. The following is my feedback - Pappardelle were tastless; talgiata excellent; dessert nothing to write home about; ambience average; service average. However, Salvinos is well positioned close to St George's square, ideal for a quick lunch or dinner.

This is a small place, tucked into one of valletta's side streets. The ambience is pleasant, noisy when full, being small in size, but good none the less for a business meal or a good plate washed down with a glass of wine. The service is good and the wait staff polite. Fair to say that this is good eatery!... More

We were recommended Salvino by a Maltese friend who said she had heard they did good pasta at lunchtime. She was right! We had papadelle with Gorgonzola and truffle and the gnuci (stuffed gnocci) which was wonderful and creamy and lemony. They were both delicious and obviously home made. Husband and I both ate half our plates then swapped so... More

I went here with my girlfriend during our holiday having read about it in the Lonely Planet travel guide. I have to say however that it was a crushing disappointment. The atmosphere of the restaurant was ruined by people having to shout to be heard over the loud music and our table (next to the door) hadn't been properly cleaned.... More

We wanted a quick meal before visiting the wine festival and had a main course only. The kitchen is open planned, which means you can see chef preparing the meals which is fun, but did mean that the restaurant itself got rather hot even with the a/c on. The menu was limited, but we all had a different main course... More

The recently refurbished restaurant is situated in the heart of Valletta under the new parliament plaza. Today, under the leadership of Chef Steve Mamo they lead their dynamic team in providing dishes with a modern and classical touch with all flavours staying true to themselves. Salvino's offers an extensive list of Italian wine, featuring rare vintages and other sought after selections which complement Steve's carefully crafted dishes, in addition to an outstanding dessert menu.
