We had a really nice meal here one evening. Excellent service and reasonable price. The tables are a little small if you are eating a meal rather than a snack. Nice background music spoilt by the busker across the road with his electric rock guitar.

Relaxing evening with friends at il Kantina in Valletta. Good food and service and food is reasonably priced. Recommend a glass of port to complement the meal

Popped in for breakfast during a recent trip to Malta. Was heading to Mdina from Valletta but wanted breakfast first. Wondered around a bit and found this little place. Lovely breakfast, great service, very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

What was wrong with the food? You seem to be self contradictory as you had then and after complaining that the price was beautiful?! (meaning satisfied).

This is a family run business and we do our best to give the home made food feeling. We mainly cook A La Carte therefore the menu changes twice daily, depending on what is fresh during the day. For those that are in more of a rush there are the snacks and burgers menu. Being exactly in the middle of Valletta one could shade themselves from the scorching sun under our lovely trees whilst having their well deserved break.
