D'Office is one of our favourite 'go-to-restaurants' whenever we're in Valletta, and that's usually for lunch. We've never been disappointed with the food and service. Our preference is inside, but clearly many choose the outside ambiance.More

When we visited this restaurant in 2017 the food was so good that we recommended it to many of our friends. Unfortunately cannot say the same now. The food was too dry and tasted rancid and the bread buns were stale. In the menu it...is stated that roast potatoes and vegetables are served as a side dish to the main course, but we were only served potatoes.More

The place seemed nice and it was full so I checked the menu and saw if I could find something vegan/vegetarian. I then ordered the marinated olives as a starter and risotto as main. After waiting over 30 min and seeing who came after me...already enjoin their bread, the main course arrived. I didn’t asked for the olives bc I was already annoyed enough and just wanted to leave. For my surprise, a place where is full of Italians was the place where I had THE WROST Risotto of my life. It tastes like nothing! The only thing that has some taste was the grana on top. The only good thing was the virgin margarita I had.More

We ate here some weeks ago and I should tell the place is nice, the plates also seems nice, we took rabbit ravioli and calamarata pasta. The pasta arrived mostly attached this means that noone took care meanwhile it was cooking to turn it. In...general it ruined the plate but considering this place sells itself as a bistrot and has pretty high prices this is a NO for me, they should care more about their food if they want to apply those prices and sell themselves as a bistrotMore

The bistro is in a quaint and beautiful place in Valletta. There was a violinist playing music all evening in a beautifully lit avenue which made for a romantic setting. The service is exceptional and warm. We had Risotto and Seafood pasta, it was tasty...and generously portioned. The wine was great too! The best place I’ve eaten in Valletta!More

First evening in Valletta and we came across the D’Office near to where we are staying. A table for two outside, early on where we could watch the world go by. Our waiter was very charming, wore a Mask as is the way in Covid...conscious Malta. We felt very safe and ordered olives and bruschetta for starters and mixed seafood to share from the specials menu accompanied by a bottle of Rioja. Starters were ample and the seafood followed swiftly, hot, mussels in foil, delicate sea bass and the squid was divine in a crispy light batter. We were not rushed and enjoyed the meal. Total cost €61.85More

We have eaten only amazing food in Malta and on our last night treated ourselves to this central location which looks friendly. We ordered the swordfish and the second dish was Maltese tagliatelle. The tagliatelle was average tasting something you can make at home from...a packed, but the pasta was completely glued together. The swordfish ... was appalling. No taste whatsoever, overcooked and so dry. I tried adding salt, pepper but it was horrible. The side salad looked it was sat on the plate the whole day, dried out. Fries were ok so I ate those only to be greeted by a lovely hair at the bottom of the plate.. Then we sat waiting for any waiter to notice us (we sat in the alley) for 20mins until we had to go and ask for the bill inside. We both left feeling nauseous and ripped off.More
