This cafe/bar/restaurant is just inside the city walls, just past the parliament building. It's a great place to sit for a drink, snack and just watch the world go by. The drinks are reasonably priced and the service is efficient. There are lots of tables...so it's easy to get a table. Just a great relaxing place!More

A very good spot just through the main gates of Valletta. Unfortunately this is what they seem to rely on and can therefore give very bad customer service - especially as a tourist spot. Advertised on the table was a marker stating a bottle of...Prosecco was €25. When we came to pay the bill we were €27 charged. On querying this, the waiter stated that it was in the menu as €27 and the markers were only advertising the bottle not the price. We told him that this was false advertising and that the markers should be removed or updated but I am sure this will not have happened. As a resident on the island , I am sure that the markers will be kept and the wine will be charged for at the correct price either to known citizens or in winter when the tourists have gone home. There are many other wonderful cafes/ wine bars in the capital so I would suggest seeking these out before visiting here. I tried to find some contact details to bring this up with the management however, none to be found - strange that..............More

Drinks are very tasty but staff was very very confused and very very slow. Toilets are catastrophic!

Despite all these reviews I truly enjoyed sitting there with a quick cappuccino. I asked them for a lactose free coffee and they went beyond! I'm not coffee lover but their cappuccino was goooood! We were bunch of deaf people, lip-readers, but staff went ahead...and managed us professionally! Thank you so much! But bathroom, well, it got a fourth place on my "bathroom selfies from all over the world" list !! Congratulations! :)More

Not a bad place for breakfast. Close to the main bus station to the airport. And also not pricey with a lovely outside seating.

Visited this little cafe bar a few times whilst on holiday in Valletta, having been there a couple of years ago. Service a little slow but staff quite friendly. Disappointed with our visit today - ordered Aperol spritzers which were poor quality and very weak...- not worth the price they charge!More

The service is just to slow. 10 minutes to get someone to come to you, then another 10 before you get your drink. Don't waste your time.

Situated at the top of Republic Street on the route in from the bus station this cafe gets very busy. Drinks were OK but the service was very slow.

Really bad food, poorly made with poor service. My partner had a tuna sandwich which was overpriced and didn’t taste good at all. I had a “Greek salad” which essentially just wasn’t a Greek salad. Soggy lettuce and false advertisement. Rude and unhelpful staff. Don’t...go.More

Very poor service. I won't go back. As a customer on a not-too-busy evening I had to resort to waving arms or sticking my head in the kitchen to get served. Some staff (Asian) very good. Others (Afro Caribbean) more concerned with wearing caps backwards...and street smart looks. Very poor. In a town with lots of alternatives, this place lost the battle. I won't bother again. I'll go somewhere where my custom is valued.More

Went here for breakfast and was ver disappointed. Ordered a continental breakfast that was meant to come with toast, cheese and hams. What I got was a toasted burger bun, sliced cheese from a packet from a supermarket and sliced sausage. The service was appalling,...the staff just felt they didn’t care and would rather be somewhere else. If we hadn’t had to zoom off then we certainly would have complained.More

This is an amazing and interestingly decorated cafe. Set as it is in the ruins of thew old theatre you will see the pillars and arches leading down to where they now have the toilets. This toilet trip is a must. We had some refreshments...here which were nice. The service is quite good as they seem to have plenty of staff.More

Stopped in for a drink in the early evening and this is a good place to watch people go by, situated right next to the Cathedral and on one side of one of the main squares. We had a table outside and the staff were...very helpful and attentive. Others nearby had food and the portions looked very generous, there are bars and restaurants in all directions from here.More
