The Exiles Beach Club is located right underneath the popular Sliema seafront promenade. 1. No real entrance or host to find your way to the restaurant.
2. No servers or staff on the floor thus had to go to the bar to order
3. Very little alcohol placed in the drinks and very much not worth the money. Long Island ice tea had a pinch of vodka with a lot of coke and sugar syrup.

I went for Lunch on a Sunday with my wife; the place was full, however the waiter Roberto found us a Table for two. Roberto immediately recommeded a dish which was with their specials of the day - it is always advisable to ask for the specials of the day. He said, try the Spaghetti alle Vongole; since Roberto is Italian and from Rome I took up his advice and ordered the Spaghetti alle Vongole. My wife had Rice with Meat pieces. Both dishes were very good, however the Spaghetti alle Vongole were just divine.
My plate was a largish portion and had many vongole (carpet-shell clams); it was just delicious and definitely recommended for those sea-food lovers.
The rice with meat was also of a very good standard.
I will definitely recommend Exiles Beach and Restaurant for its atmosphere, cuisine, ambience and the helpful staff.

Went out for lunch with a group of work mates. The location is great and you can enjoy a few drinks and a bite to eat surrounded by a pleasant atmosphere. The food is unfortunately nothing out of the ordinary. I decided to have a salmon salad but whilst the salad was cooked to perfection the bowl was full of lettuce and practically nothing else!

We went for lunch and till the starters everything was good but contorni with mains never arrived and the excuse given by the waitress was not valuable and without sense. Three of the main courses were duck breast. The taste was not good and besides that one of them was cold.
This was an experience that I would like I never pass through again, when I go out for lunch. Please avoid to visit not to pass from this experience.

keep us waiting for over 2hrs to be served, wanted to leave but told not to spoil it by family members. First two plates came after 2hrs while the rest came half an hour later. incensed with anger at the bad service. was offered free desert and an appology which did some damage control but a birthday celebration was spoiled.

Lovely restaurant, excellent staff. . Food is lovely and very tasty, big portions, couldn't eat it all. Staff were very helpful and made us feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend you give this a try.

A group of 13 visited Exiles Beach Club.
Three of us ordered a bottle of La Torre white wine, which was corked despite having a screw top. When I returned the nearly full bottle (minus three sips from the three people trying it) to the "manageress," she reacted aggressively, stating it was the cheapest wine on the menu and that we shouldn't expect much. The price difference was minimal, and we weren't drawn to it for its low cost.
In my experience, reputable restaurants use table wines to offer value for money options, but this place seemed to have chosen the cheapest wine without considering its quality. We suspected it had spoiled from being left in the sun, but she showed no interest in investigating.
The manageress accused my husband who was at my side, helping me return the glasses and who lent me support, of insulting her by returning the wine and loudly claimed he shouldn't expect much from the cheapest option. She expressed frustration with foreign patrons, which I found offensive.
My husband tried to explain that all three of us rejected the wine, but she dismissed his input and labelled it "insulting" and insisted they had sold 20 bottles that day, implying we had no right to return it. The restaurant should have tasted the wine if they doubted us instead of accusing us of being cheap.
Ultimately, she refunded us without us asking, having repeatedly implied we were cheapskates. This experience left a bad taste, and we will not return. The manageress's reaction was arrogant and patronizing - I can only hope she is also a shareholder.

Carnt believe the standard of food service best I’ve seen in a few restaurants really friendly couldn’t do enough for us and they even gave us a geography lesson of Malta deffo five star for us

Worst pizza experience ever, 10 euros for a pepperoni that tasted mildly,old and bland like it came out of a microwave. We bight 4 pizzas. I cannot believe this and I live here!

Almost beaten up with words"Get the f... out of my bar!" Arrived at 6 PM, was at 1 table with the order of chips, 3 beer with 3 other guests. Since this table was pre-booked we were moved to another table that had no reserved sign on it. Our plate of chips was removed with our food still in the ball. Josef Buggeja claimed that even the 2nd table was reserved even though none told us about it. We were forced to get up and leave after only 30min at the table! 8th Sep 2022 at 7 PM he used force to assert his point and his waiters removed all the food / drinks we have previously ordered. At this point we were two 53 year old ladies, waiting for the husbands to join the group so we will further order a meal and listen to the bluzz band that was about to play some music. Joseph did not offer us an alternative table, he accused us of stealing the non-existant reserved sign, he claimed we did not order any food, nor were in the middle of our order. Our customers rights were fully broken and he used violence to get us up. We were fully shocked and troumatised my this experience. Avoid! At all cost!

It was my 20th birthday, we were 11 friends and we eat different food but they were ALL terrible!!!
In the pasta there were a lot spices and clam shells.
The pizza doesn’t had any taste and the burger was Raw.
It was so sad.
