The sushi was good, the soup was good, teppanyaki was ok. Comparing to zest. The meat has not much taste in it. Its teppanyaki but the way it was presented is like just normal grilled chicken. The service was relatively good. Price range not so much as its abit pricey and the portion was so so.

Visited this place on several occasions during our 2 week holiday in Malta. This is a lovely restaurant which offers delicious, well presented Asian food. The staff are all very friendly and welcoming. During our first visit my husband and I were served at different times, with him having to wait a substantial amount of time before receiving his. (I... This is a stylish modern sushi bar, overlooking the sea just across the road on the edge of Sliema. It isn't cheap, but then sushi bars aren't normally. That said, it did not disappoint. The fresh was fresh and tasty, and the service was quick. We both enjoyed the food, and there was a very good variety on the menu.

Nice atmospehere, nice choice of food and very well presented. I've been here many times and each time the food has been very good, even when being in large groups. Definitely worth a visit :)

We visited this restaurant upon our arrival in Malta and fell in love with it, great Sushi at an affordable price. We enjoyed it so much we went back that week for lunch! Staff are friendly but service can be a little slow, worth a visit and located by the Preluna Hotel.

I was surprised to read some of the bad reviews, especially about the service. My wife and I stayed at the Preluna and had to try this Japanese cuisine restaurant. We aren't huge fans, but enjoy it every now and then. We were so impressed we came back a second evening for dinner, despite all the options available in Malta.... More

Sakura remains my favourite spot for sushi. The menu offers a good choice of Asian nibbles, it's main speciality being Japanese. Maki and sushi platters are delicious. Sadly the waiting time has remained this restaurant's Achilles heel. During our last visit, sushi starters were served around an hour after placing the order. Waiting staff and shift manager apologies profusely for... More

Have visited Sakura many times before, but never took me the time to share my experiences in Tripadvisor. The interior is rather plain but the food and service is first class. Staff is always helpful und friendly. This time i tried their octopus sallad in hot sauce. completely different from other octupus sallads as the octopus was in thin slices.... More

Let's start with the good; The food is really good standard and reasonably priced. The location is very good. The decor is okay, although perhaps a little dark. Now the bad; The service was really poor, we were on holiday and visited for an evening meal the day before we were due to go home. There was a young family... More
