I rarely order risotto because few local restaurants know how to make a proper one, this one though was to die for, one of the best I've ever tasted infact. Everthing from starter to dessert was flawless, service and all, well done.
We visited for Saturday lunch, a day before St. Valentine's. We were welcomed and our request to sit next to an open window was catered to. We opted for the tasting menu which was very interesting and absolutely delicious. Staff could not be more attentive...or warm. A big well done!More
We keep returning to the place because we feel safe: patrons are spaced out; staff is all the time cleaning surfaces, maintaining social distancing and wearing masks; and there are hand sanitisers in every room. The food changes seasonally and every time the dishes seem...to be more refined. We really love the way the chef patron experiments with sweet and sour tastes, and different textures on the same plate. Hospitality is top notch and if you are still unsure of going out because of the pandemic, the chef can prepare food for pick up or delivery. We've tried this ourselves and they even included homemade bread that is usually served to dine-in customers.More
Food here was exquisite without being overly priced! The selections were varied and the combination of plated food was quite original! Super cosy atmosphere even with social distancing. Super nice staff and food arrived within 15 mins, in which delicious complementary hors d’oeudervs were served....Highly recommended!More
Start to finish excellent.
Always told people Wigis was my favourite restaurant in Malta but this visit may well be making me change my mind.
Thanks for all the lovely little free starters a great touch to start the meal.
I very seldom recommend restaurants as the majority can let you down through their inconsistency, however a friend recommended the Fork and Cork and I tell you, WHAT A FIND! Cosy, friendly staff, good atmosphere and extremely high standard cuisine (especially the degustation menu)
The...purpose of this note is to simply record our complete satisfaction on every aspect of this place and to recommend it without hesitation.
We shall definitely be returning-thankyou Carl and to all your staff.More
