This is what you get as answer, when you said then that you got a booking. Worst stuff on malta so far. Ignorant. Hypocrite. You come they told you we're fully booked, with a lot of free spots. Ok You call to check if it...possible to get a booking. They said yes. Come any time you want. You come and they said no, were fully packed. The hell was that? Are you bad in english somehow? Even though couple before us just came and sit. Without anything. So good luck having sit. Besides when we came, we saw one couple settled, after 1 hour there were no dishes on theirs tables... sooooMore

Very good restaurant with a nice concept: you pay 27 euro per person and you have traditional food: a big platter, soup, main course (you choose between fish, sea food and meat) and desert. The food is good and the atmosphere is nice.

Today we were supposed to have a reservation for two, yesterday we phoned to change the booking for the same day. The owner gladly accepted. When we arrived at the restaurant on time he told us that the restaurant is full up, we explained that...we had a reservation. He said "no its full up, when you phoned you confused me" and he went to talk with other clients leaving us there without even excusing himself. While we understand that this restaurant is popular, it is unacceptable that clients are treated this way. He had our mobile number and he could have phoned us again to tell us that he cannot accept us and we would have gladly rescheduled. Customer care is key. First learn how to talk politely to people than open a restaurant.More

The best choice we could make for our first dinner in the Bay.All food was delicious and more than enough for us.Tasty lamb, fish, octopus and local dishes like beans soup, ravioli, appetizers...The chef came to meet everyone and everybody is kind and welcoming.

Place was recommended by a friend so we decided to try it out. The food served was too simple, flat to the palate. The owner himself came to our table several times - no mask on and too close for comfort - telling us how...much he loves to pay attention to detail in his kitchen. Honestly reality proved otherwise! The ribeye my husband had was the biggest disappointment, he left half in his plate after giving up on chewing it. We also saw that his habit of talking to other clients at their tables persisted throughout our stay. Definitely won't be returning to this place.More

Went for the day to Marsaxlokk and was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food on offer, we decided on TaVictor and were not disappointed, I ordered the prawn salad to start but was a little perturbed to find the prawns were raw, apparently...this is how they are served in Malta, my husband graciously swapped with me and I had a platter of the most delicious mussels in a garlic and wine sauce, he confirmed that the prawns were in fact delicious too. He had Aberdeen angus steak and I had chicken for main, portions were huge! we declined a dessert but enjoyed a Maltese red wine that was delightful, really good dining experience.More

Excellent, genuine Maltese food. Lovely platter with fresh gbejniet, hobz biz-zejt, Maltese sausage, followed by beef soup and fresh fish. Both waiter & owner were very friendly and service was excellent. Situated in a square overlooking the church it is the ideal place to visit...on a Saturday afternoon as it will be less busy than on a Sunday. Highly recommend.More
