Came across Duncans whilst visiting the Sunday market. The place was really busy so we gave it a try. When a table came available we sat down and the waitress came over quickly to wipe the table clean. Good start. We ordered some wine, then the food. The wine came. The food didn't. After a while we went to the... More

Local bar restaurant serves what may be a mix of frozen / fresh food which is why we tried the home made arancini , they were excellent and the local wine was very good at just over three Euros for a half litre, a nice unpretentious place for a light snack

Duncan restaurant is just THAT! This is a family restaurant run by affable brothers. It caters for all type of food serving good pasta dishes, meat and of course, being in a fishing village excellent fish! Combined to this restaurant is a small boutique hotel Visit on the week days because Saturday evenings and Sunday lunch time are always frenetic,... More

We stopped here for a quick drink and to try out the advertised Arancini rice balls. Its a great location with a good view of the harbour and close to the bus stop. However, after sitting around for ten minutes we couldn't work-out if there was actually a waiter serving the tables or whether we had to go into the... More

Great coffee, friendly staff and a pleasure to be introduced too. The little village has all the beauty of the French Riviera and all the benefits of Malta.

Also a great place to appreciate a delicious lunch situated in a sun-drenched square with a fine view of the famous market. Extensive, reasonably priced menu to suit all tastes and appetites - many items are available as starter or main course portions. Very friendly and helpful owner. Lasagne recommended. Local La Valette wine is only 8 euros 50 -... More

We only had morning coffee here but the owner, an Aussie, is so friendly and helpful that he deserves support and a good rating.

I always call into Duncans Bar when I visit Malta (now twice a year) because I know the food and drink are superb, the service is friendly and efficient and the prices offer excellent value for money. They also offer accommodation in a lovely setting. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Duncan was not as busy as some of the other restaurants in Marsaxlokk so we decided to give it a go for coffee and cakes. Suffice to say we were not disappointed and really enjoyed our visit. Strategically placed I can recommend this restaurant as offering exceptional value.
