It was a coincidence that we visited Gianni's. The food is exquisite, especially for us vegetarians. For us the best restaurant in Gozo. We can recommend this restaurant to everybody!

Lovely Italian restaurant and beautiful setting perched atop a cliff, the member of staff was very nice and the food was ok but the price was waaaay too much for what you got. Wouldn't recommend this place unless money is no object and you want...More

This was not our first visit to the restaurant but it will be our last. It did not start well. I gave the name we had booked in - a table for 4 - and was asked if we were 'the 7.30pm group'. My companion...More

Lovely restaurant with a fantastic view! It was quite special! Chef was fab and kept checking we were ok. They catered for vegans and vegetarians which is fab - food had a lot of flavour! I had the best Thai curry I have ever had!...More

I chose to eat here based on a number of good reviews . It is located on the outskirts of Xaghra so a taxi is likely to be needed . We ate on a Monday night and it was extremely quiet - and perhaps why...More

The food was good even if there wasn't such a great choice to be had, the waiters were friendly, the terrace view lovely at sunset. We did find the prices on the high side compared to the ambience, with the beef fillet charged at €24....More

Gianni's is in Xaghra at the end of Marsalforn road in Barbarella building, right near bus stop Il-Pergla Masri of bus 322. Coming from Marsalforn in Xaghra direction, we are 850 meters after Marsalforn Church.

Description
My son Stefano and I moved from Torino, in the North West of Italy, to Gozo after coming here on holiday several times. The reason is that we were in love with the people, the way of live and the sea that this island was offering us. Here we noticed that the italian cooking is well known and reproduced mainly concerning courses that belong to the South of Italy. On the contrary, we've hardly had the pleasure to taste some of the ones from the North. In order to supply to this lack, we would like to introduce some of the traditional courses from the North of Italy and, in the same time, to propose the favourite local dishes (excellent fish, savoury meat, ripe vegetables...) but differently cooked, following our own special style. We will try to make you experience unprecedented flavours, discover unknown virtues of already famous food in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where to spend happy hours. We will make any effort to make you satisfied. Thank you.Gianni
