Stopped for a quick coffee ... was greeted by smiling staff and rapid service. Covid regulations complied with.

Visited Coffee Break two days ago with a friend for lunch. Started with the Beef Cheek Tagliatelle and the Chicken Pesto Penne as starters, and continued with the Racks of Pork Spare Ribs for mains. Food was pretty much amazing from start to finish. The...Pesto tasted authentic, the Beef Cheeks were cooked to perfection, and the Racks of Pork Spare Ribs were so tender the meat literally fell off the bones at the slightest touch of a fork. It was definitely an all-round excellent experience - amazing tasty fresh food, at very reasonable prices, along with helpful & friendly wait staff and kitchen staff that did their best to make our dining experience as good as possible. Will definitely be visiting again!More

Been here a few times and not a big fan. Drinkable coffee and poor service but it’s just across the road from the bus station so I can see my bus arriving. However, even that is questionable as it takes so long to get a...server’s attention, I’ve been asking for the bill when the coffee arrives. On my last visit, I noticed that one of the servers had obviously failed to read the manual when donning his face mask (although I didn’t think putting a mask on was all that difficult). The mask was clear of his nose and exposed his upper lip, effectively providing no protectio at all. After a couple of minutes, I recognised this individual as someone I’d seen on a bus a day or two previously with his mask below his chin. In Malta, food servers and bus passengers are both legally required to wear masks. Although the management of this cafe cannot be held responsible for this individual’s behaviour away from the workplace, they should be aware that failing to wear a mask at work is illegal and a potential threat to the safety of customers. It does make me wonder what other hygiene rules they can’t be bothered enforcing.More

Really good and cheap food and drinks. The Breakfast is incredible! I ordered a Baguette with Bacon and egg. You had a fresh, warm and crispy baguette (one of the best I ever ate!), crispy bacon, one fried egg over easy and fresh salad in...it and chips on the side. I paid around 4€ for the baguette and it blew my mind! Only contra was that we had a little bit of time pressure and the food took around 30 minutes to be served.More

We arrived in Victoria looking for a reasonably priced meal. The first place we saw was Coffee Break, right opposite the bus station. It looked ok but nothing special, so we walked past but couldn't find anything else close by which suited us. We went...back to Coffee Break and we were so glad we did. We had the shrimp risotto (with tomatoes, white wine and cream) and spaghetti rustica (garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, courgette, parmigiano cheese). The food was served quickly and was delightful: good textures, generous quantity of shrimp, fresh vegetables and full of flavour. We also has a local Cisk lager, a Tequila sunrise cocktail and a generous slice of carrot cake, all for €27.00 We would highly recommend this place for the quality of food and value for money.More

I visited this place twice, once having a pulled beef baguette and once a smoked salmon baguette. I must say I enjoyed the latter much more. Overall the staff is nice, the atmosphere is OK and the prices are reasonable.

This was by far the worst meal in Malta. I had spaghetti with rabbit, in fact it was spaghetti with rabbit liver, badly seasoned. My wife had spaghetti with cheese. On one of the pieces of cheese there was mould, definitely not the type there...should be. The service also not spectacular. A place not to recommend.More

This cafe is very near the bus terminus. Perfect place to wait for your bus! The staff speak English. We only had coffees but the food we saw looked and smelt delicious. Would definitely recommend

It was a special day for us and we were three couples. The food was superb and every couple had different meals and we finished with a sweet and a very good Smoothie.
