Had evening meal here. Situated in the walls of the Citadel. Ask to go out onto the terrace up the wining stone staircase. Platter, rabbit, homemade ravioli, vegetable soup, spaghetti were all very good. There were 3 vegetarians and 1 vegan in our group and the menu had something for everyone. Interesting toilet.

The place is really special, antique and colorful. We ate at the upper floor which was less hot than the sun terrace. It was a nice respite from the heat. There food is OK, but nothing to write home about. We came at 1pm and the goat main dish was gone, which was unfortunate. Service was friendly.

Local delicacies served inside an okd fortress, can you really ask for more? We were hungery after snorkling in the Azzure Window and this turned out to be a great choice. Try the Lamb Stew - You won't be disappointed. The local cheese could also be purchaed in the local shop.ww bought a load of.

We had a lovely lunch consisting of the local cheese platter with tomatoes, olives etc. It was the best lunch of our trip and we would have loved to have eaten here in the evening but we were only visiting for the day. The service was excellent and the waitress was friendly. The restaurant is in an old building with... More

The menu features a small selection of very Maltese food with many of the ingredients grown locally and by the owner. The view from the roof is excellent and if you visit during the quieter period of the day, you are bound to find a space as it can be quite busy at times. I would advice you visit the... More

Small menu..yes. makes choosing meals quicker and easier. Makesit easy for the female chef whom cooks alone to deliver so many delicious, authentic meals (most authentic i found in a month across the islands). She even had time to visit our table to get feedback and shared with me her secret ingredient in her rabbit stew which i promise to... More

We had the platters for lunch (cheeses, olives and sundried tomatoes) The food tasted so fresh and was very tasty. We loved the location as well in Gozo's Citadella. The pasta dishes looked amazing too but we were so full after sharing a platter. The service was excellent and the waitress made a big effort with our baby and brought... More

Having been left to our own devices for lunch during a tour of Victoria we came across the menu for this restaurant and decided to give it a go. From upstairs came the noise of a full dining room (or terrace) but we elected to sit inside. We shared a bowl of pasta and a loaf of bread, my wife... More

Fantastic little restaurant in Gozo's Citadella. We had coffee and a truly delicious little dessert called 'Imqaret' Great views from the roof top terrace, and friendly staff - 5⭐️

Our purpose for this day trip was to see the Citadel and have lunch at Ta' Rikardu. After wandering the paths of the fortress in the cloudy, rainy weather (the one day of dreary weather we had), we followed signs to the restaurant. It is actually just up the street to the left of the Cathedral. We entered and kept... More
