Recommended by some people in town. We had a cheese platter full of local fare. Simple. Local. Tasty.

Home made pasta and wine straight up from there on winery in the cellar, mmmmmm and a small roof terrace if you want to eat outside and view the Citadel and a lovely lady downstairs all the way originally from East Kilbride in Scotland...

We had lunch in this restaurant. The choice of dishes is not large, but everything is traditional and mostly made locally. We had goat and pasta with rabbit sauce. And of course their goat cheese. The bread was sooo tasty. We had the house wine and it was very pleasant.

My husband and I dined at Ta' Rikardu on the rooftop overlooking the old city, the food was delicious and fresh, it was such a relaxing atmosphere.

Following advice, we climbed the spiral staircase up to the roof terrace, and enjoyed spectacular views over the cathedral, and ordered the local cheese platter, which was delicious and reasonably priced.

This is a great restaurant if you want a taste of the local culture. It's also in the heart of the citadel and has tables on the roof if you want to be outside. The service was really efficient and the food fresh. We had a traditional local platter and the rabbit with potatoes and both were delicious.

Roof terrace has stunning views over Victoria. Traditional Gozitan menu, rabbit penne - sauce was lovely, as was ravioli. Good choice on the menu and good portion size. Steep stone spiral staircase to the terrace, getting food to the terrace must be interesting.

At the end of the sightseeing in Rabat (Victoria) we turned here. Nice sevice, local beers ( Lord Chambray), refreshing vegetable soup (not a cream), and young goat meat with tomato and onion! A very much recommended place!

I love this a little chaotic place, and I never miss to visit while in Gozo. Two floor and a balcony, perfect place for a local snack or a lunch. Location is great, inside old city, with a friendly service. They offer something for everyone taste but of course best are local dishes. My favourite, a salad with tasty cheese,... More
