Quality of food ok but food service was so slow. Took ages for my food to arrive and it was a only a Thursday night.

It was a big disappointment for us. Nothing was fresh even the bread. The octopus and fish were definitely overcooked. Wouldn't go there again.

We made a reservation and had the the phone call to prove it but our booking for some reason was not found so we were given one of the worst tables where the waiters constantly passed behind us, hitting my chair in the process. We...were eventually moved to the next table when a couple left, which at least got rid of the constant pushing on my chair. (Had to ask the waiter to change the table cloth as she was going to make us move on a dirty table cloth but anyway). The food was a big disappointment - we ordered the brie as a starter which was cold in the middle, with a week's old bread for sure. Tortelloni lobster which had chewy and definitely not fresh lobster and the tortelloni was sticking together. Then the grilled calamari was chewy and extremely overcooked and bland. To top it all off, we wished to pay by card to which the waiter notified us that the restaurant no longer accepts credit cards. When we asked why she said that she doesn't know. Who doesn't accept card payments in 2021? Such a disappointment because this was not out first time going there. Will definitely be our last tho.More

We eat a fresh sea beam with local sauce. It was very tasty and tender. They also gave me a local gozo cheese to try when I asked about it after paying my bill

After Our Amazing Experience At The Kohinoor Indian Restaurant, We Went Again to Experience their mediterranian menu .. they sat us upstairs for dinner on a saturday evenning , this time with a reservation made .. We had a 3 course meal for me and...my husband and just a plane pasta for the kids .. after we made our order , the waiter came to us with free bruschetta , and after 20 minutes our starter came , which was a linguini octopus and a shrimp coctail , the shrimp coctail was nice and fresh , and the linguini was also very nice , for main course we had the seafood platter for 2 (to share) .. it was a fairly big platter with like a bucket of cozze , 4 king prawns , calamari fritti , and octopus in what they call local sauce .. it was more than enough for us both , Which went down nicely with our bottle of red wine and the nice view of the ocean ... we ended up paying the total of 80 euros for a family of 4 .. which we saw was cheap for the quality of food we was given .. .. keep up the good work , you will surely see us again this summer ! The restaurant commands a great location overlooking the harbour with a good choice of food. The service was good and fast, having said that being the low season I was the only customer at the time. When travelling to seaside resort my first choice is...always fresh fish, which many of the restaurants in Gozo located in fishing villages offer. Whilst fish is always good and fresh, the delivery is not that inspiring, it seems that the choice is either fish with roasted vegetables and potatoes, both covered in oil, or chips, I wish some would offer the more health option of boiled vegetables. Overall a good place for dinner, the internal decor is good and perfect place for a romantic eveningMore

Nice location, but the food is nothing to wonder about. Not bad, but blant, it’s noting special. Big portions but no creativity. Service is helpful though.
