The view is beautiful, the food is nithing exceptional but it's nit bad. However what irritated me is that there is a massive variation from the prices of the menu on the fb page and those at the resataurant. The difference is of even more than 50% for example chicken on the emnue is 10.50 and in reality it's 16.80. this is robbery and misleading information. Prixes have gone up A LOT and menu on fb was not even emended

Dear mircam312.
I don't really normally answer to reviews as I leave everyone to leave his opinion freely, but in this case you have to notice that on Facebook there is two menus and the one that you are referring to us a take away menu with less selection with yes lot cheaper than dine in.
After all you can't say that it a robbery as when you sat down, a menu was laid on the table or if it wasn't the staff gave you one. At this point you had the option to stand up and leave the establishment with no obligation. I hope you can correct this review as this is an unfundamental accuse of the roberry.

Situated in a quiet part of the bay away from the traffic this is a lovely location with a great view and a cooling sea breeze. Food is varied and excellent as well as being reasonably priced. I would certainly go again. Friendly staff and families are made welcome.

The restaurant nothing special but the place and the view especially if you dine outside are very nice. It is close to the sea and very quite lace.
The staff was very friendly and they were very strict regard the the table social distances.
The Food was very good nothing to complain. Good size of portions and decent waiting time.

This restaurant used to be good, however the present owner has acted very rude, stupid and arrogant unlike his father and grandfather. He cannot even prepare a proper and decent peperoni pizza, at least mine came with all peperoni to one side and the owner had the nerve to refer me to an Art studio if I want a symmetrical pizza. May be he should attend a course at ITS to learn how he should communicate positively with his customers.

Another delightfull visit to restaurant Horizon on Gozo. We have had the most sweetiest staff attending us. We ordered food like pizza wire perfect crisp, fresh and delicate fish and last a lamb ossobucco that was nice jucy and tender.

This restaurant is a favourite of the family. We have been plenty of times and each time we feel satisfied which is why we keep returning. Food is always freshly cooked and the choice is always very inviting. I can safely say we have tried most of the dishes on the menu and so far I cant remember ever being disappointed. Desert is simply the cherry on top of cake and ice creams are just like nanna used to make. All this comes with great friendly service and a view to die for. Parking is no headache and the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable. Thanks Jason for a great meal every time.

Stayed end May in the Horizon Complex and had dinner at its restaurant below. Loved the stay: apartments are spotlessly clean, well equipped, all come with kitchen & balconies or terrace. A coin-working AC and washing machine at disposal for all guests. Linen super fresh, fans on ceilings, wifi and hot water perfectly working. Amazing views, parking available, bright and silent.
Restaurant always full with local people which means they also do appreciate the excellent food; the fish was simply delicious, fresh, generous portions, worth the price. There is an open air terrace or covered restaurant space. Secluded beach just a couple of meters all around, supermarkets not far away, bars next bay. One week after I left I simply came back and stayed even more as I haven’t found a better place on the whole island (and I have seen it all, from home stays to villages to camp sites etc , for work:)
Will definitely recommend!

We were so disappointed with the service and food here. The location is fabulous but the service was very poor. One and half hours to wait for main courses by which time we had finished a bottle of wine and eaten loads of bread. When it finally arrived the lamb chops were supposed to be medium rare but had to be sent back as they were uncooked on one side. The waiter argued with us and told us we were in the wrong, When they came back cooked everyone else had finished. The pizzas were left by the children but burgers were good.
We asked to see the manager but no apology was offered. We will not eat here again despite the great location. We were also considering the apartments to stay in potentially next year but will not return. What a shame we had expected better. We have eaten out most nights and had far better service and food at other restaurants on the island.

We dined 22/03/22 as a family of 3 and could not fault the service or venue. The portions were a great size and they even catered for a smaller portion for my 85 year old mother. The food was excellent especially the sticky toffee pudding (presentation was also fab). The staff were very pleasant and made us feel welcome. We will definitely be back.

The management very quickly understood our needs for a mixed group to have drinks some to move on and the majority (about 30) to stay for dinner. A very accommodating and attentive team with food befitting the occasion. Well done.

Stopped for a quick lunch on Sunday. It took 90 mins to produce 2 pizzas. We had to ask for a menu, then ask for the order to be taken and then we waited, and waited, and waited....
On the positive the restaurant overlooks a lovely little bay and has a wonderful view. The pizzas, once they came, were delightful.
Will not be going back. Can not afford the time.

Awful food all round. Rare steak served as well done. Prawn salad pretty inedible. Mixed seafood dish terrible sloppy presentation. Pizza average at best. Was truly shocked as have been there before and always enjoyed it. Will NOT be revisiting

Such friendly, caring and attentive staff. We visited twice and both meals were superb. The first time seafood and the second time the duck breast. The food is excellent and they work hard to ensure that you have the best experience. Remembering you and speaking to you as you pass afterwards. The view out to sea is so cute and even after dark the lights make it beautiful. We really rated this place, starters, mains, deserts and wines. Far better than their higher rated rival, round the corner. And great value for money. Top night out!

Every time we visit Gozo we visit this place. It is situated in the best location, exactly by the waters’ edge. Ideal for lunch or dinner and even for a cocktail or coffee. Genuine Food. Fair Prices . Fantastic owner who makes you feel welcomed and always serving his clients with a smile. Great staff aswell. Kudos to all.

Utterly disgusted by the approach of the owner when we arrived at the restaurant today the 23rd of October. 5 days ago I booked a table for 3 persons close to the sea. To my surprise when we arrived not only the table wasn’t close to the sea but wasn’t even reserved! The owner gave us another table that he justified for that every table was close to the sea! And that if we weren’t happy he would fill it up with or without us. We left after such remarks! This used to be one of the restaurants that we used to recommend. Not again! Thankfully there are so many restaurants to option for.
