Every time we visit we are always, without fail impressed with Viv’s. The service is 10/10 The Food- again 10/10 I ordered a ham and cheese croissant from the cabinet. It came warmed up( not piping hot so I couldn’t eat it) with an accompaniment...of fresh salad- lettuce and red onion- delicious Cleanliness- 10/10 Your team seem really happy and I congratulate you on your fantastic product. Oh, this is also one of the best spots to buy club sandwiches- salad, ham, ham and pineapple, corn beef, beef, chicken and cranberry! Fresh and really yummy. Perfect for my 97 year old mother-in-law. Then there is sweets- the small ginger loaf and neenish tart just hit the spot. Famous for their Cream horns, which are great, beware there is a lot more going on here! Mince on toast?- the best❤️ Potato top pie- perfect🔟 Coffees-✅✅ I recommend scheduling a stop here, enjoy the soft tunes of magic, relax in the 50’s diner decor and soak up the perfect 10!!!More

Amazing food, great prices, fantastic vibe. So glad we stopped by! Had the cream horn which was glorious! Pie, toastie and other treats were also very much enjoyed. Will definitely stop by again. Staff were attentive and really pleasant to interact with too!
Cute place to visit with 1950's Cafe Diner Decor, Serves some Kiwi iconic cream items and other slices etc. Quite Busy but seemingly well staffed. Perhaps a bit slow at refilling their Pie Cabinet for what is a popular self selection lunchtime item choice.
The venue is really cool and so is the menu, good variety and pricing. The food is fun and nice too. It was such a shame most staff members we have dealt with had a bad attitude and no passion for such a lovely place,...certainly doesn’t help with building customers loyalty.More

This place may be famous for their Cream Horns, but dont try anything else! I had the misfortune of having their scrambled eggs and my oh my, what a disaster. Suffice to say, they have got to be the worst I have ever tasted and...I've bee to some dodgy places! Apart from being cooked in a microwave, I do not know what the blazes the cook put into this mess!More
Good location with plenty of parking. Menu traditional kiwi cafe fare. The service was a bit erratic, however we were a larger group. Good value and good teas. Cream horns are GREAT.
I have just visited Viv's Kitchen and was horrified to see most of the staff were unmasked. We are currently experiencing a global public health crisis. Not only is this unacceptable, it is illegal. In addition to this the vaccine pass scanning is reluctant at...best. Not good enough.More
“Home of the cream horn” may soon become the home of a covid outbreak. Many staff were not wearing masks and there was no active monitoring of vaccine passes. If they can’t be bothered with such simple public health measures, it makes you wonder about...their other hygiene measures…More

In a world of pretty samey samey cafes, it’s refreshing to take a trip back in time to a simpler time, some say a better time. Like most people I’ve passed by here for years so this time decided to stop off and see what...the fuss is about. Really cool diner decor and a reasonable array of pies, toasties, sandwiches and above all else the cream horn. All of the food that we had was very enjoyable, coffee was passable but the best thing for us (with kids) was the outdoor play area so we could let the little ones run around. We liked our time here so much that we actually stopped on our return journey coming home.More
