The fish selection was good, some menu items were not available but that is often the case when fish is fresh. Food was excellent, good portions. Staff was uninterested, they had a tour group that took most of their attention and Portuguese speakers had a better chance to get their attention.

Here you will get cheap but extraordinary good and fresh fish. You can make your own choice at the show cage. The fish is then prepared for your meal.

The food was very typical from Azores. The fish was really fresh and very well cooked! The staff was very friendly, always ready to explain something. The food was really great and the atmosphere in the restaurant was nice.

Fresh, good TASTY portions, polite and helpfull waiters. It's one or maybe the best place in São Miguel island for you to cook for fish. Won't regret the decision and please, also try the fish soup.

Nice little restaurant, served fresh seafood, had a grilled fish head, forgot the name of it, but it was the best meal I've had in the Azores island for the 14 days I travelled.

Always ask for the catch of the day, and they'll tell you exactly what came in that morning. Very large size meals, making 1 serving enough for 2, even when big eaters like myself. You can also always order 1/2 dose! It is a family business, started with 2 tables and survived due to quality! No, the waitress may not... More

First of all, this place is not anywhere close to where Trip advisor thinks it is. Put the address into Google maps and find it that way. Shrimp was over cooked. Squid too. Rubbery. The waitress knew nothing about wine. She talked to a customer nonstop for a half hour ignoring us. Go to Bar Caloura instead! Excellent simply prepared... More

What a great place to eat the best of the Azores sea ! You must try a white wine to get along with the fish, Terras de Lava is my suggestion.

Beautiful tiles inside and right next to the fishing port in Lagoa. Friendly staff and goos value menu options. Brilliant fresh fish.
