Beautiful meal. Great service. Lovely atmosphere in cosy building. Make a reservation to avoid disappointment as it isn’t open every day and is very popular.

Small, intimate restaurant with a great view of the harbor. Limited but expertly prepared menu sourcing local ingredients. Reservations are a must due to limited capacity. We did the 6-course tasting menu with all sorts of lovely fish dishes. Do try it if you’re in...the area!!! Two thumbs up!More

One of the best meals we had in Iceland. The service was gracious, meals arrived quickly and were delicious.

We went to the restaurant for my birthday! The atmosphere is great, the staff is friendly and the food is incredible! The fish is extremely fresh and the dishes are innovative. They are very close to the port, so you can also enjoy the view...from their terrace. I'd definitely recommend going there if you stop by Stykkishólmur!More

This restaurant is exemplary, and such a pleasure to visit. We (a couple) had the six course tasting menu...highly recommend. Five courses of delectable and creative seafood, one delicious dessert. The seafood is ultra fresh and superbly prepared,, with a medley of tastes and textures....My companion declared the meal to be the best she had ever had. Service was excellent and personable. The location (right at the charming harbor) and decor are just great. This restaurant is a total treasure. Again, highly recommend!More

I don't get it. We were really looking forward to this meal. Service was not good -- seemed very rushed, plates not cleared, utensils not provided with dessert. The cod cheeks were over-fried and dry -- what a waste of a premium ingredient. Fish dishes...were mushy / bland. I was so looking forward to this dinner -- probably my most disappointing of the entire trip. In comparison, the other place in town was fantastic.More

We had dinner sitting at a table overlooking the bay, very nice setting. Very cozy restaurant, great service from the ladies who were very good at explaining everything from the menu and excellent food!! Think about reserving a table or you will miss this one!

Within the charming little village of Stykkisholmur, everything in this beautiful place reminds you the sea, both the dehor facing the harbour, with deckchairs and a bench obtained from a small boat, and the interior, warm, cosy and welcoming. The menu is rather limited because...their ambition is to offer locally-sourced, seasonal and sustainable options, but the result is very good.More

There are just a few options for food in Stykkisholmur but this definitely one you dont want to miss. I had delicious fish soup, followed by amazing cod. Husband had the most amazing looking scallops (and so many of them!) Definitely need reservations. It's a...smaller location so you want to make sure you secure a spot. Great wine selection and delicious dessert.More

Luckily we got the reservation since somebody cancelled. The food was delicious and the staffs are very friendly and made us feel warm welcome. We tried tasting menu which includes most of dishes from the a la cart menu. We like each of them.

We didn't make a reservation in early July, and we had no problem getting a table.

I don't know. Went on a cold January night. No waiting. Good luck.
