My fiancé and I both had pizza (I had the Giantess), it wasn’t bad but it definitely wasn’t good. This is about the quality of food you would get at a Applebee’s or TGIF. Be prepared for average pub fare.

This is an authentic restaurant. Although not fine dining, it is a step above a diner. Despite the fact that the majority are tourists, the cuisine and atmosphere is authentic Iceland. I would definitely try this place.
The food was excellent as was the service. Our hotel recommended and it was perfect. There is also a nice store connected to the restaurant and we had a wonderful time after dinner picking up some local souvenirs.. The saleswoman was lovely.

We had lunch here on our way to local points of interest and were really pleasantly surprised with quality of food and service. First of all try local fish (arctic char, salmon, cod) and pizzas. And freshly made cakes were just delicious.
