We were heading back to Reykjavik and need some food before heading off. We found this place, which was not really crowded due to the covud situation, but still had a decent amount of locals who seemed to be doing a biking trip. I had...the shrimp pasta, which was delicious. Big portion and flavorful. Worth stopping by for.More

We were seated in a museum lobby that is attached to the restaurant because the actual restaurant was full, the waitress said that we would be seated inside the restaurant when a table would be free. Two parties arrived after us and both of those...parties got seats inside the restaurant before us and we ended up eating in a museum lobby. The pizza was not that great. Do not recommend this place.More

The Pizza Margherita was really bad. Quite impressive to make the easiest pizza taste only like salt and cheese. No tomato base or flavour at all.

Old renevated cafe house , very easy access, we ordered applepie and french chocolade lava cake and icecream. Great place to stop for a coffee or dinner.

We enjoyed both the service & the food but it puzzles me why they allow so many people to stand long inside the restaurant to wait for tables. Yes, the whole Vik is extremely busy this month, but it's very difficult to enjoy a meal...when so many people are waiting inside or even next to your table. They food was OK though..👍🇮🇸More

Fair, unimaginative food. Pleasant staff and quite a lot of people. This could be the new epicenter for Covid, though. Small spaces between the tables, no disinfection between guests of neither tables nor menus and the waiters simply move the stack of ketchup, salt etc...between the tables with no cleaning whatsoever.More

Cosy place and the food was very good. I hand lamb, my son pizza and my wife soup. Service good. I would like to eat there again. The dish was good looking with many interesting extra such as some kind of mushroom pate, potatios, and...salat. The pepper sauce was also very good. We were staying in the hotel next door so this was the obvious place to eat, but it was so busy we had to wait for a table to come free, and it was busy all evening! There was a nice mixture of families with...young children and older people. Staff very friendly. The menu is large but mostly pizza and burgers. There are a few Icelandic dishes i.e. trout and lamb. Some good desserts which seemed like homemade. Good beer too, and the prices seemed reasonable (for Iceland). Well worth a visit, but be prepared to wait.More
