Kind staff , nice burgers and chicken wings. The place was cosy and we were well served. Price for a meal around 20 euros. If u are a burger lover its the best option in Vin

I’ve only written a few restaurants reviews before, But I’m doing it here. I tried their Blue geese burger and it’s f.cking fantastic. Hands down one of the best burgers I’ve ever had. It was like an orgasm in my mouth. 10/10 would recommend.

We heard about the Brewpub with the craft beers, what surprised us was that it was also a pretty good BBQ place. After a week of lamb and Arctic Char, what a welcome break! I tried the sampler plate and loved it all, my wife...had the kids cheeseburger. The burger was quite big, beware it was smothered in ketchup. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend it next time you are in VikMore

Had the Tasting platter and a Stein of beer. The food was amazing as was the beer ….. you get to keep the Stein as a momento . Service was great ….. I’d love to come back again.

Lovely place in Vik, funky brewhouse, with a large menu of both beer and food. Warm blankets to keep cozy, and the most delicious burger and fries. Highly recommended.

The place is nice and has a great selection of beers. I tried the fries with pulled pork and my wife the chicken burger, everything was really good and the service is great. I really recommend it.

After reading the reviews for the burgers we wanted to try it out. Very busy during dinner time but we did get a table. The best burger and fries we have had. Burgers were delicious and juicy, fries were perfect. Buffalo wings were good too....My husband tried a couple beers, he liked them. I tried the cider, didn’t care for it, tasted like sparkling wine. Overall a great meal!More

We ate at the Smidjan Brugghus after a full day of sightseeing with several of our wedding guests. We had arranged for the dinner prior to the date because it was going to be a big party (25+). Unfortunately, many of the guests ended up...not making the dinner because the sightseeing trip took a few hours longer than expected and they were traveling back to Reyjkavik from Vik, to catch early morning flights. The person in charge that evening was more than accommodating and understood the issue that arose. The atmosphere was comfortable, and the food was delicious. The beer was great. We love local beers everywhere we travel. For anyone staying in Vik or even those that are traveling thru the area, if you are looking for a great burger, patronize Smidjan Brugghus!!!! The staff are friendly and the food is a great value (outstanding flavor as well).More

I ordered some BBQ ribs, the flavor was good but they arrived cold. I don't like to return food. As a company, you must take care of the product you offer and not contaminate the experience.

They offer a sample of their beers in case you're not familiar with them or can't decide. The beers we ordered were very good, as were the onion rings we had with them. Our only regret is that they didn't brew a stout.
