Three of us ordered the fish meal of the day, pan-fried cod. As always in Iceland, the fish is fresh. The kids ordered pizza which was very tasty. As an icelander living abroad, when i visit restaurants in Iceland, I order fish or other seafood on the menu

To begin with the staff is very friendly and the place it self is welcoming.
The food is great. As a vegan I must say there vegan pizza is amazing(I go for: mushrooms, sundried tomatoes and olives) with some very yummy vegan cheese!
Also they have a vegan burger that's very good with beyond meat and fresh veggies.
Can't recommend enough!

We had an excellent lunch buffet at Torgid. It included pizzas, fish soup, mashed potatoes, lamb with vegetables, fish with potatoes, various salad vegetables- lettuce, tomatoes, pickled onion, pepper, beets, corn, sundried tomatoes, pickled herring, olives... Everything tasted good. Price: ISK 2.390 ($18.80 in US dollars).

Great value wholesome meals. We ate here 2 nights running and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The menu is not particularly Icelandic but we were able to get chips that we had been missing after 2 weeks. Great friendly service

We had dinner at Torgid, grilled lamb. It was just right and delicious. The bearnaise sauce was warm, and getting more was not a problem. The chips were just right. Service was excellent and polite. The chocolate cake was stiff and tasteless, but the ice cream was fine. Great view over the harbour.

Perhaps because it was Sunday, we were not allowed to chose from a menu, only buffet. For a gluten free person this limited my selection options, nor did they have GF bread. Still, my selection tasted good, and I was able to repeat. No other restaurant available in town.

We love Siglufjörður. When we arrived, we were very hungry and decided to try this place offering lunch buffet. The price for it was not cheap but not expensive. We think for the food offered, it is not worth.
Oizzas were most probably or for sure some frosen ones. Not tasty at all. There were french fries, good and main food was chicken in oven. I think the chicken was not fresh.
There was soup. The only think which was realy tastey.
Ok, but will not go again

They do a vegan beyond meat burger which you won’t find anywhere else in the North! They also do vegan pizzas. The service is the best we’ve received in Iceland. Such a warm welcome every time we return. Cant recommend this place enough!

No fuss - straightforward and good local food or special burgers if you like. Popular among locals. Very nice and helpful staff. Torgid special burger was very good. Good atmosphere.

Buffet .... fish was ok. But pizza was like yesterdays baking with no taste.
Or may be a frosen pizza. So it was a little expencive.

Had a lovely evening dining at this lovely charismatic restaurant. Really cosy and comfortable and super friendly. We all enjoyed the food , the house wine was very good to . We would love to return another time . I accidentally sent my wine flying across the table and a lovely young local girl serving came to immediately clean it up and a few minutes later brought another glass of wine on the house , that’s class and shows you what a nice restaurant this is .

Nice place right next to the small Harbour of Siglufjordur. We had salad with shrimps, great roasted vegetables and tasty french fries. The service was very friendly.

We had both dinner and lunch here. Simple decent food. The dinner portions were small (aside from the pizza). The lunch buffet was plentiful and the meat soup there was very good.

Delicious lunch buffet as we passed through the village on the Ring Road. This was the perfect lunch spot and the views are spectacular. Cost roughly $70/usd per couple.

Pizza was very good. Getting our bill was a challenge. Seafood pizza was really good - seafood did not overpower the pizza. Chili oil was superb!
