Had a business lunch in Bergsson RE. The roast beef looked good and was really tasty. Good view over the Reykjavik harbor.

Ate as part of a large group that had booked the whole restaurant for a Saturday night reunion. Great service, stylish decor, good views onto the harbour and excellent food - especially considering we were almost fifty people. Close to the Maritime museum I am...sure this must be a good place for lunches as well as dinner in a more normal setting.More

Bergsson RE is a very nice place with few dishes to choose from based on the daily catch. I had a delicious cod with lot vegetables. They also have fishsoup. Location is just by the harbour in west Reykjavik. Service friendly and pricing moderate.

Bergsson Re is located over Grandi foodhall in the new Reykjavik harbor. The lunch is excellent and plentiful and remarkably well priced. Bergsson Re is one of several places run by Chef Bergsson, and all seem to be excellent in their own way. Bergsson Re...shares the upstairs over Grandi with the beautiful offices of Ocean Cluster House. This place is well worth the slight diversion from downtown Reykjavik.More

My wife and I ate at this restaurant for lunch, which is by the Old Harbor. This whole area is being developed and has cute little boutiques, an ice cream parlor and other shops. It’s worth a trip to. The restaurant itself is amazing, fresh...fish and delicious soups. The wait staff was particularly helpful and made our visit very pleasant. Highly recommended.More

Surprising that this place has not had more reviews, it is well worth finding. Down at the wharfs, it is has a large sign on the outside of the building and an open dining area with views of the docks. We were lucky enough to...go with a large group which enabled a sampling of a whole range of the offerings - including cod, lamb, a series of excellent salads and roast potatoes. Excellent meal.More

Ate dinner here on a tour. Fabulous marinated lamb salad with blueberries and balsamic. Main was very good cod with Bearnaise, braised cabbage, fennel, and sweet potato. Dessert was yogurt with rhubarb and blueberries and crumbles. Pushing give stars. Highly recommended.

Fabulous dinner at a very reasonable Iceland price. We had a marvelous cod dinner for 2 for about $48. It came with root vegetables and 3 sides. The people were wonderful and told us not to order an appetizer since the portion was so large....It is close to the main park with restaurants surrounding the park.More

Iceland is an amazing place full of good food, but this spot takes the cake. We stumbled in for lunch after returning our rental car nearby and ate our entire plate. Freshest fish and delicious flavors! Fresh ingredients and heavenly bread. Also we were the...only tourists so you KNOW it's a good place.More

We were searching desperately for a place to eat before doing the chocolate tour at Omnom; we needed a restaurant that was reasonably priced ( for Iceland) and offered non -fish options. The chalkboard menu was in Icelandic only but the bartender translated for us....My tandoori chicken was delicious, as were the raita sauced cauliflower , grain salad, lettuce salad. My husband was thrilled with his cod necks with buerre blanc. We were even able to sit on the deck as the weather was so nice.More

Came for lunch and found a beautiful, airy second-floor space with big windows looking out over the marina. Food was honestly incredible: I ordered at the counter and took back to my table a generous plate of fresh cod surrounded by sweet potatoes, beets, and...other salads. The waiters were really sweet and everyone was kind and welcoming to a single traveler. It was just a gem of a place to watch the boats and relax and have the most wonderful food.More
