Cheap and affordable food greeted with good service, not as good as home but still meets my standards. Would recommend for all.

Not at all like the yummy fish and chips you get at home. It’s more like gougons with chips in a basket. Too much batter not enough fish. It cost £20 per person.

We walked up here to find the van had disappeared into thin air. Could find no information online to confirm this is the case. A waste of time. I’m sure the fish and chips are lovely though.

This was one of our favorite places in Reykjavik to eat...mostly because of the price point, but also it’s just fresh, tasty and hot off the grill. One thing I REALLY appreciated about it was they had towels available if it was raining outside for...More

Last summer was the second one I thing they had the Vagninn open during summer. They always have a fresh fish and it is nice on summer evenings to sit down there and east outside there by the Old Harbour in Reykjavík

A bit away from the busy center of Reykjavik, the food is decent and simple (fries are pre-fried). Should visit if you only want to try the fish & chips dish of Iceland.

This was the best fish and chips we had in Iceland. It was a nice thick piece of fish with a yummy coating. The tartar sauce, fries, and peas were fantastic. The staff was friendly. All around wonderful experience.
