Welcome to Haust, a unique restaurant centrally located in Reykjavik. The menu focuses on fresh Icelandic produce cooked to perfection by our skilled chefs. Haust means autumn in Icelandic which is fitting as the restaurant embodies the beauty of the Icelandic autumn. We strive to capture the crisp and fresh feeling of taking a deep breath on a clear autumn morning. It is present in everything from the design and atmosphere of Haust to the enticing aroma and the bustling kitchen. It is our hope that Haust captures your senses to make your visit unforgettable.

I went to Haust restaurant on a weekend for the brunch buffet. The variety was incredible and most of the dishes were great. It's a great place to take kids as there are partitions through out the restaurant that dampen noise and create a cosy...More

The weekend buffet had been advised to me as large and tasty. I visited during the Christmas season. True, the buffet is large, but unfortunately the quality is not great. Plenty of stuff with sauces and creams, and although there were a few vegetable dishes,...More

We stayed at this hotel and came here for dinner one night for ease. It was expensive (but then the rest of Iceland is!) but at least you can eat as much as you want! Not the best for veggies but an amazing desert choice!

Staying at the Fosshotel Reykjavík makes this, of course, a very easy restaurant to get used to, but it’s well worth a visit if you fancy a really good buffet meal at a reasonable price (considering that this is Reykjavík). There is a soup of...More

Yes smart casual is just fine. Generally especially in the winter months Icelanders are dressed very practically based on weather.
