We came across this bar after we'd been stood outside the Town Hall for 45 minutes waiting for our Northern Lights tour that they hadn't informed us and 6 others of the cancellation! We were cold and thirsty and liked the look so went in...an weren't disappointed. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. I'm pregnant so can't eat certain cheeses, to which they made allowances for in the cheese platter we ordered. Lovely cosy feel whilst being modern and friendly. Would definitely recommend.More

Very cozy, laidback bar with live music now and then. not much food, but a perfect place to chill after a long days walk around town.

I have never thought Gin & Tonic can be so delicious until now!!! I tried Blackberry G&T and Candied Ginger G&T, both are soooo good!!! The menu listed ingredients and very detailed descriptions of flavors. Whoever wrote the menu did a superb job! The wine...menu is like a mini dictionary. It is very well organized, and each wine has detailed descriptions. The wine selection is incredible! Wow!!! What an experience in Iceland!!!More

Really nice wine, including a nice selection of house wines. The menu also includes a long list of whiskeys and other drinks. The service was great, Reynir and Paula, had several recommendations and allowed me some very nice tastings. If you are at the Kvosin...hotel or in the area and want a nice drink this place is perfect.More

We stopped for a couple of beers and experienced Klaustur Bar as nice and cozy, very central in Reykjavik.

Located in the hotel building, good Happy Hour rates, served great continental breakfast, and a good supper snack menu, from friendly staff.

It wasn't the best bar but it was a good place to start the night. There were tons of drinks to choose from. Depending on the day you go, there can be a tons of people there or no one! The mojito I got was...MASSIVE, I didn't need that much drink- but for someone else it would have been a good bang for your buck compared to other places. What really lost the star was the bartender was very dry and not friendly, which was surprising because everyone in the hotel was wonderful. We were the only ones there, but there was no greeting, no asking if we wanted to see a list of drinks, no checking to see if we needed anything ever, in fact she walked out while we were there so my friend who walked in after we had already gotten our drink never had the chance to order.More

If you stay in the Hotel, you always get happy hour prices. The staff was great. Einstok White Ale is my new favourite beer. The live music was a nice touch.

This bar was attached to our hotel. It has a chilled vibe and a great selection of crafted cocktails, as well as run of the mill stuff. Three of us tried a selection of cocktails, each being better than the last. Burnt orange peel and...springs of thyme abounded, but really they tasted great. I would recommend this bar.More
