Best food and best service we had in Iceland. Very moody atmosphere. Staff very calm, relaxed, friendly and professional. Had the horseloin tartar, the rye bread with salted cod, the fish of the day (trout) and the cod head. All of it was absolutely delicious....More

Very good fish but wish there was more on the plate. Good and fast service, food was a bit slow to come out but the food is good.

Really delicious food and a good range of dishes to choose from, or a degustation menu. Vegetarians are well catered for. Great service and a decent wine list. Recommended.

If you want to try an authentic experience of Icelandic cuisine then this is the place. Front of house is a bit touristy but the restaurant feels rustic and welcoming. The halibut soup with its tart background of whey is wonderful and what's not to...More

We liked this place the best during our 9 days in Iceland. In fact, we enjoyed it more than most good restaurants anywhere. It has a cosy aspect in an old fish processing building. The cooking and presentation are superb and the daily 3-course special...More

We went during lunch and had boots, jeans and sweaters on. I don't think its high fashion. Just amazing food.

Inspiring traditional Icelandic cuisine. We take the good old traditional recipes and the best Icelandic ingredients to create fun and tasty food. Let tradition surprise you! We go to great lengths to find Icelandic cookbooks and other written material that may contain recipes we can use in new and inventive ways. Everything on our menu is homemade with first class produce.
