We had burger and chips, it was nice, slightly over priced but most food in Iceland is to eat out. The staff were not the happiest we encountered, but maybe it was a bad day. Probably better burgers around for the price.

Went there on my birthday with my fiance, had a table booked at 8, got my table at 8:30 and had to stand in the ice cold lobby while i waited, bad food, bad service, bad employes.. spend your money on better places like Hereford...steakhouse or Apotek restaurant.More

Ate here early evening. Place was very busy which is a good sign. Service was swift and polite. Food was good. A bit pricey for what it was but that's Iceland for you. Banana split dessert is definitely one to share !!

We ate here twice during our stay in Reykjavik and were very pleased with the food and service both times. Staff were friendly and the choice of food was great. We tried their soup and salad bar which was lovely, and their lamb was delicious!

This is one of Reykjavik oldest restaurants, famous for its hamburgers, whishbone sandwitch and the daily lunch buffet. The new ownership has turned this restaurant into a horror cusine, where everything is faked, bad smelling and strange tasting. Hamburgers delivered to table as 50 gr...only half the diameter of the bread bunnet, overcooked and stale french fires, fish and chips smelling like something really dead long time ago, guests turning in there dishes allaround discussed. A bad night in the kitchen or a non-interested management. Dont know and it doesent matter. There is a petrol station further down the road with desent hamburgers, the restaurant next door is quite good and the chinese restaurant on the next corner is actually serving food. Getting in is hard as the door is hardly moveable.. take that as a message and go somewhere else.More

Great food but very expensive for me. Chose the takeaway service and food only. Alas! No drinks for me. Have dinner in, if you can afford it. Great atmosphere and very comfortable.

We went on a Sunday when they had an all-you-can-eat buffet on. The soups were delicious and they had a huge range of fish and meat on offer. The lamb was the most tender I’ve ever had. Very reasonable price for what we ate. Friendly...staff with good English. Definitely worth visiting on a buffet dayMore

We arrived in Iceland at lunchtime and stumbled on this place, both very hungry. Vegetable fajitas were awesome, the last place I ate them was Mexico. So I was prepared for a poor substitute. They were delicious! Came out sizzling. The chicken burger arrived as...a beef one, was tasty so all good Coffee really goodMore

Partner said this is the best seafood pasta he has ever had. He is still going on about it. I had the bbq chicken and fries - it was fine, nothing special but tasty and cooked well, (not sure you can make a simple chicken...and chips Dish special but I ate it all so that’s a good measure) it also included the salad bar too which was fresh and fully stocked. Definitely worth a visit if I the area. Ok service, not much atmosphere, didn’t wow me but since other half is still going on about his seafood pasta and demanding I give it 5 stars.......More
