Great bar, great atmosphere. Popped in for a beer, on our last night in Reykjavik and ended up staying for a few. Unfortunately I lost my jacket during the evening and despite the best efforts of the staff, who even had customers looking, it couldn’t...be located. When I got back to the Uk, I contacted the bar, who said they had found it. Pordis, the Manageress then posted it back to me on her day off and would not let me pay for the postage. On top of that, there were three packets of Icelandic sweets in the parcel, when it arrived. Can’t thank Pordis and the staff enough. Lovely people.More

Got very busy and had a great Male guitarist on who sang and played (perfectly) a great range of rock and pop music. I think he was Icelandic as he catered for Icelandic and more popular European tastes. Great friendly atmosphere with lots of laughter...singing and dancing, one of our favourite places!More

We had a beer in double hour. It was 1250. We did not see any food options. Both Tourists and local. Nobody spoke danish, but they had a selection of Danish beer and shoots.

My husband and I loved visiting this pub during our week long stay in Reykjavik. The excellent live music lured us in and we kept coming back for more. Lively pub with a mix of locals and travellers who all like to sing along to...the music. We enjoyed the happy hour specials and the staff was friendly.More

Whilst the locals in this pub were friendly the bar staff were not so much. Stood waiting to be served whilst the barman hid in the kitchen pretending I wasn’t there and he clearly saw us come in. We ended up leaving without buying any...drinks. Not really sure what his problem was.More

I came in here an hour before closing while there was a live musician playing. The vibe was fun and light. Service was great but the winner were the drinks. I can recommend any cocktail especially the one that translates to The Little Mermaid (forgot...the Icelandic version, sorry). I've never had better drinks and people were really nice to talk to. It's a bit pricey if you're a tourist but it's pretty normal for Iceland.More

My wife and I stumbled upon this gem while carrying out a recce of the city. To be honest we hadn’t even planned on having a drink and had just intended exploring Reykjavík before getting some food. This little bar seemed so lively however with...such a great atmosphere that we decided to stop in for just the one. Famous last words... The live music was so good- I think they were the Troubadours?- and so varied that we keep saying “oh ok, just one more” so many times that it was well past midnight by the time we left. The live music had given way to 90s dance ( Aqua dr Jones! ) ... We had grins on our faces the whole way back to the hotel. Awesome bar.More

Great bar in Reykjavik. Spent part of our New Years Eve here and had great time. Friendly staff and a homey local feel for a pair of travellers. Great spot for live music too. Vist Den Danske Kro when you visit Iceland.
