We had a nice metal at this restaurant. The place is very cozy and the atmosphere was very nice. During dinner there was a man playing the guitar adding to the good vibe. The children got paper and crayons, which helped during the wait for food. Pizza was perfect, the lasagne a bit over cooked and chicken a little dry,... More

After a long day of fabulous touring we took the advice of our tour guide & ate at Carusos. The food was superb, with quantities large enough for us to take home leftovers. Loved going in the back door & winding our way through a restaurant filled to the gills with happy customers. Location was also great because it was... More

My wife's risotto was cheesy but otherwise OK and my halibut had the most delicious flavour but was overcooked and dry and my corn-on-the-cob cold, but baked potato was good.

We had dinner here in Reykjavik. The service was great. The pasta was excellent. My husband had a chicken salad which was very disappointing. The vegetables weren't fresh and the chicken was too chewy. Nice house wine.

We went there a family of five (four adults) on a wed.day and we had table reservation at 20:00. The starers came after around 50 minutes, seafood soup which was excellent, and garlic bread which was okay. After one hour and 40 minutes the main dishes came. That is three of us got their order then. The waiter explained that... More

I was pleasantly surprised. I initially was turned off by the giant menus posted outside the restaurant. Inside was cute and the food was very nice. Service was efficient and friendly. In other words, it's very nice for a touristic restaurant. I would recommend it.

We stopped by in our first night in Reykjavik without a reservation and was really pleased with the choice and quality. I had the king prawn risotto and the prawns were huge and tasty. My husband had chicken and tomato pasta which was also delicious. Definitely recommended!!

We walked in on a friday night without reservation about 9 . They had a few empty tables. Lovely place. We were seated at the least desirable table i saw next to server station. Everyone has to walk by there for service and wc. Waitress was very pleasant but service not good. Asked for lemon or lime for sparkling water... More

I had reservations (you probably need to do that if eating on a Friday or Saturday night. Great food. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Wine is pricey but it's that way all over the city. Easy to find. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

I have visited the old and new Carusos and find the new location better. I had menu #1 of three courses, soup, lamb and dessert. All very good.
