The atmosphere and decoration in the restaurant is so cosy and romantic The location is not the best in my opinion and the building from the outside is not very pretty. But most inportantly!!! THE FOOD! It is absolutely amazing. We came om saturday and...when we god home afterwards, we booked a table for sunday again, because the food was so good. You have to try the garlic bread!!More

While we stayed in Reykjavik for four days, we went to Caruso's three times. The food was delicious, and the amount was suitable to get everyone satisfied. Inside the restaurant it is very cozy. We highly recommend the place to everybody visiting Reykjavik.

OK restaurant but would have expected more. Catch of the day was trout and it was not bad at all although a bit boring. The pizza was disappointing. All in all average, but it is a cozy place it is

Yes, Iceland is expensive. Let's get that out of the way. That said, this was probably the best Salmon I've ever had, served with a mushroom risotto and arugula salad. Wish I could have it right now! Cozy setting, attentive staff. All the food coming...out of the kitchen looked delicious.More

We visited here on a Saturday night after walking around trying to find some form of English friendly food. (Yes I know it was Italian however it was more english than all the thai restaurants) I ordered the bolegnaise and it was very tasty. My...husband ordered Chicken tagliatelle which he enjoyed. It came with a slice of garlic bread and we also ordered a portion of gralic bread as a side instead of a starter. Worth the moneyMore

We started with a big side salad and then I had pizza and my friend had pasta. It was good - the pizza crust was a bit soggy. They had a guy playing the guitar just over my shoulder. Lol. It was nice music and...great atmosphere. Just like the other restaurants we went to in Reykjavik, it was a long, leisurely dinner. There is no rushing about to move people out of the restaurant which is kinda nice.More

We ordered the catch of the day. It was beyond delicious. The service was fantastic and, despite the fine dining atmosphere it was completely comfortable for our family with 2 small children. The location is central to everything and the perfect location for an after...dinner stroll.More

I have nothing but praise for this quaint restaurant. Of all the options in Reykjavik I chose to take my girlfriend here for our anniversary. I could not have selected a better restaurant. The location was perfect, right in the heart of the city. I...had a reservation, and despite how busy it was we were seated immediately. My girlfriend was amazed by the atmosphere. It felt like home dining, there were candles and red roses on each table, there was a gentleman playing soft music on the guitar, and the low level lighting made it a very intimate and romantic dining experience. The food was amazing!! We got the garlic bread as an appetizer and that may have been the best garlic bread I've ever had. For dinner I got the chicken alfredo and she got another pasta dish which included bacon and a cream sauce, I can't remember the name of the dish. Both were just incredible, we each finished our meals. The prices were reasonable compared to other higher end restaurants in the city. This is a must visit restaurant in Reykjavik, don't skip on this one!!More
