Iceland is an expensive place to eat and drink, in fact everything is expensive! On our recent visit to Reykjavik we found that most restaurants and bars have 'happy hour', usually between 4-6pm where drinks, beers and wines, are either 2for1 or half price. This...More

Nice atmosphere if somewhat sterile decor. But the service and the meal made up for any shortcomings in that regard. I had the cheese platter and the old cheddar was to die for. Beautifully tangy and sharp but with a melt-in-your-mouth texture that was unlike...More

A small group of us dined at Meze recently and had a wonderful meal and evening (again, I get to eat there about once per year). We checked ahead about one diner's celiac disease, they were very helpful pointing-out dishes without gluten and offering to...More

Meze Restaurant offers Turkish/Middle Eastern food at a great location downtown Reykjavík. The interior has a very nice feel with a long row of tables so it suits well both for couples and larger groups. The service was nice and fast and the food was...More

I had grilled veggies with bread and humus. Veggies were cold and portion was small. Would not recommend this place

Good and friendly service, downtown Reykjavik in one of the main shop streets. Just remember that everything in Iceland is expensive. We had fish soup and Mediterranean food with house wine. We liked the food and the place.

We enjoyed our final night in Iceland at this restaurant. Good food (moussaka, Blue Ling, Kebabs) and a good location right on the main street in Reykjavik. We had not planned to eat here but stumbled on it and the menu looked good so we...More

Ate a dinner here. European food with a Mediterranean flair. We had the bacalao and shish kabob. Both meals were hearty and had great flavours and a plate full of food. Would go back.
