As locals we dropped in without checking in advance. Ordered fish of the day and lobster which was a great success. With white wine and beer at Happy Hour half price. The service was attentive and just perfect. We will definitely add Meze to our list of favorites:)

Stopped in on our first night found us a table quickly. Staff very attentive and polite. We shared the 5 dish Meze which was just enough for 2 (1 if you have big appetite). Nice selection including Moussaka, meat balls, kebab, spinach and feta rolls and couple of delicios dips with bread. Both desserts were lovely. All in all a... More

Meze is a gem, an extraordinary restaurant in Reykjavik. The service is good, sometimes excellent, but the food... ah, the food! We went twice and had the salmon and the shish chicken, ice-cream dessert, and cocktails. Simply superb. No, I really mean it. The salmon was simply the best dish of any kind that I've had in a long, long... More

Dropped in while walking around Reykjavik. No reservation. Staff were happy to accommodate us. Had a cheese plate for starters then spicy lamb rolls and moussaka followed by white chocolate cheesecake and Irish coffee. DELICIOUS.

We hadn't reserved a table but were quickly shown to a table and ordered. Shared a Cheese starter, which was just enough for a starter, and then both had Chicken Shish Kebab. There were 3 skewers of chicken, rice and salad, and was very tasty. Service quick and efficient.

We stopped here for a quick bite before walking to the harbour. A busy and cosy little restaurant with friendly and happy staff. Lovely food and a quick service. Really like the Swiss mocha's, especially on a cold and snowy day.

The restaurant is comfortable, service excellent and offer a menu of many Italian dishes at reasonable price in Iceland. The 2 daily promotion specials at 2490kr is good value for money considering the quality of food and services. On 1st visit we had Catch of the day and a today's special (chicken) and it was truly delicious. Our second visit... More

Really lovely food and a pleasant environment. Pricey but this seems typical for Reykjavik. Recommend the Musakka!
