If you want to be served, you need to be really patient. The service is slow and unfriendly. The waiter doesn't say hello, and takes breaks in the middle of your order. I was the only one in the line and it took 10min to...take my order and then 10 other minutes for the waiter to start doing it.More

Liked their coffee and their cosy environment. They are located next to a very good bakery called Brauð & Co. on the street Frakkestigur.

Slowest service I have ever seen. It shouldn’t take 5 mins to serve each person. Very annoying. Coffee was fine.

Somehow the staff managed to provide poor service two days in a row: no smiles, no friendly welcome, no small talk. Interior is nice, coffee is good, so if you don’t care about a friendly service, go there for coffee.

We stopped here for coffee both times during our trip to Iceland. Cozy and tasty! If sunny, one can sit and rest outside on wooden floor. We also bought a brand of really good Columbian coffee (freshly ground, one can choose between a few different...brands) for our roadtrip and a very handy and high quality coffee thermo - already did a few hikes with us in Thorsmork.More

Heard and read so many great things about this place so we had to go there. They are clearly passionate about their coffee, but I just found it disappointing. The staff seemed to have a snobby attitudes too. Didn't really enjoy our experience here so...left early.More

Funky little cafe. Coffee was good not great. Pastries looked fantastic. Hard to tell tourists from locals which is a good thing!

We weren’t able to squeeze in to kàrastìgur so headed up here. We were so looking forward to fab coffee! The chap was distracted with another order when he took ours, so, inevitably he got ours wrong. Americano was out of a flask, lacking flavour....The flat whites were tastey but small. Excellent friendly service and the most delicious coffee (probably the best ones we had in the entire trip).

I dropped in to RR for a late afternoon coffee and wasn’t disappointed. As a Melburnian, I have very (very) high coffee standards and often struggle to find coffee that matches up when travelling. But RR delivered! Delicious coffee and a cosy, relaxed atmosphere.
