We were traveling with family and spent the first 2 days in Reyjavik Iceland in the town discovering the bars and restaurants along with all the shops and seeing what the locals do. We went down a side street and discovered a small park and...an entire outdoor seating area behind about 6 bars in a row out back. We were thrilled as there was a ton of outdoor seating so we didn't have to sit inside on a gorgeous summer/fall day in Iceland. We also lucked out as every local we spoke to said September weather is never this nice, our week trip was 65 degrees the entire week and we did not encounter one drop of rain our entire trip which I'm told is unheard of in Sept in Iceland we lucked out big time and were able to enjoy our trip to the fullest every day. The bar was cool inside nice decor and very old english looking, plenty of space inside and the bartenders were all very nice. My son ordered an Old Fashioned drink and wondered why they do not serve cherries in them, the bartender told him by the time they ship them and they get to the island they are mushy and not good. So the only fruit they put in the drink is an orange slice. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the weather and just people watching, the drinks and beers were good also.More

We visited this place on a Friday night and celebrated my granddaughter's birthday here. We met some very nice travellers and locals. Everyone was friendly and staff was attentive. Lots of fun activities with the dart board and lottery wheel. Would definitely visit again

Everyone was having a good time in here. Spinning the wheel was entertainment in itself. People beside us won a meter of beer and were kind enough to share. Soccer games on TV, live music started at 9pm. Drinks were typical price but huge. We...had a blast.More

Excellent English based atmosphere with Icelandic touch, many local brews with the Traditional Guinness. Barkeep pours a Guinness the traditional way as well as other beers. Ver knowledgeable about local brews. Fun.

Went here for drinks. Didn't realise they were showing sports on several tvs as well, so came back the next day on the Sunday to watch the F1 race, was only on one of the smaller tvs as the main screens were showing football, but...happy that I still got to watch it. Saw plenty of people winning on the wheel behind the bar. They had a live act on the Saturday night. Overall would recommend.More

I visited the pub for two weekends, purely to watch the Six Nations Rugby. Good busy atmosphere with matches shown on big screens. Look out for Happy Hour as it makes drinking affordable! (For a tourist!)

On entering the bar we were almost accosted by a man with an American accent saying he would buy the first drinks. On my ordering the bar staff said he'd paid for the drinks .It was two for one and it felt like it was some...type of scam and we were very uncomfortable with the situation and left after our drinks and will definitely not be returning.More

Great English bar with some good drinks and happy hour deals, played sports on TV and had a lot of space so you did not feel on top of each other

This is a brilliant bar in the center of the downtown area of Reykjavik to watch any live sport, it has large TV screens around the full premises and covers most things from Europen Football, English Premier League, Motor Sport Scottish Football etc etc you...name it they have it, ask the bar staff and they will do there best to give you the coverage you are looking for. There is a happy hour here which runs from 4 pm to 7 pm during which drinks are discounted and will save your bank balance. A fun feature is the large wheel of fortune behindvthe bar wherevyou can pay to try and win drinks, we saw quiet a few win enough drinks for there full night. All in a fun pub with friendly staff, it can get busy but it's worth a look.More

Drink here during a game and you will stretch your Kronos out tremendously. No food, unless you think chips (crisps) are one of the basic food groups. Fun spot to have a beer.

Bought Icelandic coupons working up to 23. Was sitting in the outer space of the bar from 22. Came to buy some beer at 22.57. Stayed at the queue up to 23.01 and got my coupons rejected in not a friendly way. Formality that was...demonstrated was awful. Not recommending in comparison to other placesMore

Friendly Staff that was helpful in recommending beer we were not familiar with. It’s an authentic type of pub you would typically see in Europe. The location was on one the main streets of Reykjavik and quite close to our hotel, the Centerplaza Hotel Reykjavik....We stopped in during evening hours and it was crowded with a happy party time vibe.More
