We actually ate at the location on Frakkastigur. The food was excellent, fish was cooked perfectly and super delicious. The jalapeno garlic sauce was quite good. The only reason I did not provide an 'excellent' rating was because the place was not overly busy, but...More

Fish was good but chips were soggy. Didn’t care to pay extra for sauces. 450kr for a tiny bowl of tartar sauce seemed high even by Iceland standards.

+Excellent fish (all of Iceland) -greasy/soggy chips (unimpressed) -cost extra for sauces -too much dressing (ask for on the side) -mediocre service -dirty & unclean tables -dark, dirty/unclean toilets (no paper towels)

Stopped here for lunch. We got the fish and chips and the plokkari. The fish was incredible, the chips were only ok. The Plokkari (mashed cod with butter, onions, and milk) was delicious!

The fish was fresh and fries were crispy. Love that they don't have plastic straw, knife and fork. Took a long time for the food but overall I would recommend the place to eat.

Fresh food, quick service. Have to order at the counter first and then be seated. But overall the food is delicious and place is cozy.
