Certainly the booking process and in person welcome were perfect pointing towards an enjoyable evening but sadly not to be. The friendliness of the staff was absolutely not matched by the offerings from the kitchen. Perhaps I should have plumped for the “set” menu instead...More

We were really excited when the host was able to accommodate our group of 6, especially when we realized we'd be in a booth where half our party could watch the sunset on the harbor. We didn't have a bad meal in Iceland, but qualitywise...More

Unique. Raw. Delicious. Enthusiastic service that will dissipate all your worries and restore your faith in humanity. Try the beef cheek... and pair it with a good red for a sensual experience... Leave with stars in your belly.

Being a tourist in Iceland means that your dinner menu usually is either, lamb or cod. Thankfully, at kopar there are a few more options. The food was delicious, the decor even more impressive (all Edison bulbs were unique)

Wonderful experience in this restaurant with a very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff and excellent service. The food was so good: very fresh, fine and flavourful. Nice cocktails and good wine selection too.

We had by far one of the most amazing dinners ever in this restaurant. Now, while food is absolutely delicious, the service is not great. It is expensive for the service provided but the manager was incredibly nice and invited us for dinner the day...More

This was unfortunately our only real meal in Reykjavik and wow, did we pick a great place. Langoustine dumplings, duck rolls, salmon with popped barley, lobster risotto, date pudding, great bar program, cute place. Best meal of our trip.
