Went to Bergsson for lunch after a long time this Saturday, and I can firmly say that I will not be back anytime soon. I should have taken a picture, but it was really a sad sight: a few chewy potatoes, an end of an...orange, a tiny slice of tasteless melon, salad consisted literally of a few withered salad leaves and nothing else, there was a spoon-full of lukewarm baked beans, and we were given not even a slice of bread per person, let alone the drops of butter and a sad excuse for a hummus. Oh, there was also a small portion of pre-made and rather tasteless chia porridge. Coffee was not included, so the whole thing came up to 3200 ISK (more than 20 EUR) - this is ridiculous even for Reykjavik.
To be fair, it is the midst of COVID-19 outbreak, some ingredients seemed to be missing or out of date (like rotten pineapples on display), and the staff (who seemed to be only two doing everything) looked tired and stressed, but that is not an excuse to serve this kind of meal and charge full price with no explanation. Really do not recommend.More
