About
Our shop sells CREPES, COFFEES and ICE CREAMS, with the possibility to blend them together with the unique flavour of Eldur og is, that means ... fire and ice. From the crepe's menu you may choose sweet or savoury, organic spelt or VEGAN, LACTOSE and GLUTEN FREE. The menu is "free"! Basically you choose your own ingredients from the list. We suggest you to try it with ice cream too. The coffees and the teas that we use are selected and roasted from Tea & kaffi, leader in Iceland for quality coffees. Personally I suggest you to try the Affogato al caffé, that is the perfect blend of the typical Icelandic character ... fire and ice. For Icelanders when you say ice creams, they are thinking Kjoris!

Must try for all pancake lovers. We found that place completely by chance. Small and crowded with customers, filled with fantastic smell of their crepes and waffles. Really had a problem which one to choose. So delicious! I wish I could come back there and...try many other options.More

Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) wasn't necessarily seeking out a creperie to have a snack, but glad that we found Eldur and Is. A couple of sweet crepes, some ice cream, and tea my wife said was excellent, and we were all more than...happy to continue our walk around Reykjavik. As others have mentioned, it isn't big, but we were able to sit upon arrival, and then eventually all sit together as people left. Would recommend considering as a stop for lunch or a snack.More

My friend and I visited Eldur and Is when we needed a breather during an afternoon of sightseeing, and loved it! It was hard to pick just one crêpe each - there were so many delicious-sounding fillings to choose from. I eventually picked one called..."Iceland", and definitely made the right choice! :) The service was fast, and the café itself was warm and comfortable. All of the staff were friendly, and one man very kindly ordered a taxi for us later on when we asked for directions to the Northern Lights museum. Thanks for everything!More

You can smell their crepes down the street. We decided to try it for breakfast. They open early. We had the Indecisive crepe and the Original . Both were OUTSTANDING! Outstanding. Delicious, warm, made fresh and quickly. Great service. Very cute vibe. If you’re into...art, the original art in this little cafe is beautiful. Would go to this spot every time I visit Reykjavik. Well done!!!More

Happened to come across this place and I am so pleased we did. It’s quite a small venue but we managed to get a seat :) we ordered two crepes with different toppings on. I had the Nutella and banana and my partner had the...snickers one. There are so many toppings to choose from!! You can watch your crepe being made :) They were so delicious. What I really like about the eating establishments in Iceland is that they provide drinking water free. This place had a little water station at the back which was a nice touch and keeps the cost down as Iceland is quite pricey. It cost 2700isk for both our crepes..... for Iceland I think this is about right..... and let’s face it, us Britons pay about that in gbp for a crepe at a festival too :) for the quality I would say this is reasonable :) Really enjoyed our little visit. It’s also on the rainbow road and it’s a great place to people watch- watching everyone take lovely photos of the rainbow road etc.More

Delicious crepes with tasty toppings and nice drinks on the side. Surprisingly expensive for what you get and the only place in Reykjavik we dined where I felt the prices were crazy in comparison to the UK. Around 30 quid for 2 crepes and 2...drinks.More

we are very glad that you appreciate the quality of the crepes. Unfortunately, many people compare the prices of different countries, without considering the different realities. Like the UK prices are higher then Morocco or Perù. Sincerly, our prices, compared to the quality of the...More

This cafe was a quick stop on our travels. We paid around 1400kn for 2 nutella hot chocolates. They were delicious. Staff were friendly and it had a nice cosy atmosphere. Cannot say anything more apart from it was a great stop.

Even when it is -1deg outside, this ice cream shop was busy with loads of flavours to choose from. The ice cream itself was huge and tasty. Would definitely recommend.

In Iceland are used kronan and all type of cards. Some shops acept also dollars. My suggestion is to use the cards and take control of the availability on the card.
