This is a great place to visit if you all want to eat different foods, as there is loads of choice. The menus are extensive, service is fast and food quality excellent. It’s not cheap, but then nowhere is in Reykjavik.
All tables were occupied at 7pm when we arrived, and there are no reservations, so advise getting there early, or you’ll be queuing.
We left at 8pm, to find the Northern lights dancing in the sky above the city, brilliant!

We ate here at the Pósthús about four times during our two-week stay. It is a former post office that has been converted into a food hall, with several restaurants in one building.
It's handy that everything is open until 11 p.m., especially if you don't return from an excursion until late and most restaurants have already closed their kitchens. Then you are still welcome here and it is pleasantly busy.
You can choose from about six dining options. We were especially pleased with Funky Bhangra, “Indian cuisine with a Scandinavian twist”. The dahl is delicious, as are the burgers, both lamb and vegetarian. The pizzeria also makes excellent pizzas and they are happy to explain what they make. You can order all the drinks you want, but there is also a water station with delicious tap water and glasses.
You can view all menus on site, in Icelandic and English, but also in advance on the Pósthús website, click on “menu” and scroll through the different menus.
We found the music a bit loud, but you get used to it and there is also a lot of buzz around you, so it blends in. The atmosphere is friendly, with native people and all kinds of tourists. You find a spot somewhere and they give you a buzzer so you know when your order is ready and can be picked up. After eating, hand in your plates and cutlery at the meeting point and leave a clean table.

The food hall has a nice atmosphere and lots of food choice options. We decided on pasta from Enoteca. The staff were helpful and friendly. We both had Mushroom Ravioli which was gorgeous and shared a bread basket. Both had a glass of wine. Everywhere in Reykjavik is very expensive compared to the UK but we felt that the food here represented better value for money than other places we ate whilst in Reykjavik. Wish we’d found the food hall earlier in our stay, we’d have returned to try other food options

Came in on a Sunday at 21:20 the place shuts at 22:00. I ordered fish and chips from Finsen and was served by a young lady, she took my order charged me 5 400isk and gave me a buzzer to sit down all was good. I waited then my buzzer went upon arrive to collect my food the same lady served me, I asked if I could have some red sauce and salt. She told me the restaurant was shut. She had just served me my meal with no option of sauces etc. I asked if I can have sauce again incase she misunderstood me. She shouted at me telling me the restaurant was shut and to go to another place to get sauce. I asked her to be calm she muttered in Islandic to me assuming slagging me off. The concept the whole place is amazing but having such an obnoxious staff member ruined the whole experience and that is why you’ve received a 1 star because after all the food could be amazing but if your staff are obnoxious the whole things pointless. Would recommend the place not that stall.

This place has a lot of different little restaurants. So my family and I went to order to one called Yuzu. We ordered our food and the boy serving us says thanks and we answer your welcome, like a normal person would do, well, this boy and his colleagues start laughing in our face because we said your welcome. They were rude af and when we went to ask if the little divide that they give you for you to know if the food is ready has to beep or vibrate they looked at us with a face of disgust. They were really rude and I don’t recommend to go to this little restaurant called Yuzu. This is why I gave it a 1 star. If young people is going to work here please make sure they are not rude specially with turists because they are here to have a good time.

We went here a few times while we were in Reykjavík. Really cool atmosphere with a lot of different restaurants. Highly recommend. The biggest issue is sometimes it be very crowded and hard to find a table. When we went for dinner we had to make a few rounds several times to find a table and then wait a while for it to be cleared/cleaned.

This place is a real gem. Such a great concept to bring top quality food from a wide variety of locations under one roof and to ensure that the quality across all restaurants is top notch.
Eaten here twice on our break - once for the Poke Bowls from Djusi Sushi - which were excellent, and once for pizza at Pizza Popolare which also massively exceeded expectations and were amongst the Top 5 pizzas we have EVER had - ANYWHERE.
The rest of the food being brought out looked awesome too. No duff plates at all.
Highly recommended and even better if there is a double happy hour on half price beer and selected wines.
You MUST give this a try. You will not be disappointed.

All the food smells amazing but we didn’t want to be bloated so we choose a cost corner by a pastas and antipasti place which we thought would be nice with a red wine.
Things were perfect until the owner and his wife turned up giving us dirty looks and especially his stuck up wife, he even commented to the chef that he gave us too much where his response was don’t worry I put it on top of a load of lettuce! This made the whole experience a poor one. Just because you have money does not make you special!

I was looking to specifically give a review for the Tacos/Wings of Mossley. I got the Korean wings and truffle fries and it was nice spicy and crispy. My hubby had the cauliflower wings and truffle fries. Matti had an eye for food presentation, that caught my eye. It's evident that he can indeed cook and the presentation of the food was simply amazing.
Thank you so much for making food interesting with the colors and flavor.

What an amazing array of different food cultures are available. I had a superb pizza and my wife ate from the Indian section.
The beauty of this place is you get your food from one of many sections and go and find yourselves a table - brilliant idea.
A highly recommended venue

My wife and I visited on a stormy evening in November and we really enjoyed the food and the concept. Micro restaurants with specialised menus serving top quality food, desserts and drinks. Service is fast and efficient and we would definitely recommend to visitors and locals alike.

There is a huge choice of food here and we went for the pizza. It was rather unusual but perfect edible although there did not seem to be a huge amount of cheese or anything really except tomatoes. It is relatively cheap though so worth popping in for a snack.

Just a fantastic idea someone came up with - to have several food makers lined up indoors to pick from - all surrounding decent bar like seating !
We had fish and chips, korean bbq and japanese style rice bowls. All were very good and the costs were ok too.

Such a fun atmosphere! Many restaurants with a common seating area.
We ate food from Fuku Mama and it was amazing! The Korean wings, pork belly bao buns, fried chicken bao buns and chicken rice noodle bowl were all spectacular! The best food we had in Iceland (even though it wasn't Icelandic)!
Really got busy around 7pm on Friday night (1900).
10/10 Would recommend!!

Perfect spot for a bite to eat when you don't feel like doing a formal sit down restaurant, but still want a quality meal. Various stations, including fish, pizza, sushi, Indian, and a cocktail bar. Plenty of seating. I chose the fish station and ordered the daily special which happened to be arctic char - it was delicious! Easily one of the best meals I had the entire trip. Wish I discovered this place sooner.
