Popped in as I was searching in the area for camping gas and saw lots of locals eating. Unadventuorsly I had the burger and chips and was amazed at just how good it tasted with the various accompaniments. I'm an unenthusiastic caelic and asked if it would be possible to have a tiny bit of salad instead of the bun, and the owner offered another burger instead! The food other people were eating looked seriously good too. All very healthy and everything freshly made. Havent been moved to write a review for years but tasty food and friendly people will do that!

Krúska is a wonderful, friendly and delightful place for healthy and delicious food made with care, consideration and love. The service is kind and pleasant. The bread and hummus are top quality, the lemon and cucumber waters are delicious, we tasted many dishes and loved all of them. We felt healthy and good after eating there on two occasions. We are dreaming of a chance to go back one day. This place is for people who value their health, the environment and the friendly vibe. We love you Krúska!

Krúska is well the best place and I have borðað þar regularega sedan staðurinn opnaði and við vinnufélagarnir forum að sækja þangað mat í maj 2021. Veitingastaðurinn, sem is staðsettur á Suðurlandsbraut 12, býður upp á heilsusamlegan mat eldaðan með ást og umhyggju

This restaurant is next door to hotel”Reykjavík Lights”.
It has a very limited menu and is mainly salads.
Staff very helpful but restaurant is very basic.
Suggest you go to Pizzeria the opposite side of hotel where the food is cheaper and more flavour and more filling.
Both offer take out facility.
Best option for eating out is town centre which is 15 minutes walk away.

I came here after couple of years break. This place used to be great with flavorful and exciting dishes.
I opt for the fish of the day and I had to wait for 23 minutes compared to 10-12 minutes before. There was only one staff member there for the majority of the time with the place pretty packed. When I got the dish the fish portion was very small not even 200g and the fish was so overly salted that couple of bites were very unpleasant to eat. The salad that came with it was nothing compared to how they used to do it years back. Very bland. And the rice were a bit chewy. The fish was though perfectly cooked. I went hungry out.
I most definitely do not want to come back again and I regret the money I wasted here.

Staying at hotel 15 mins away. Came on trip advisor recommendation.
Had cat fish as dish of the day which was lovely with salad.
Worth the walk certainly. Great staff and great food. Recommend it.

Amazing place with such fresh food! The salads are amazing as well as the lasagne and the burger is delicious! Highly recommend this place for a good bite and meeting the amazing staff!

We ate in here and had a very good experience. Customer service was first class and the food was excellent. It did give you the feeling that you were eating healthily! The cost was not painful like everything else is in Iceland!

My wife and I went to this restaurant for dinner because it's conveniently located next to our hotel and the reviews were good. We ordered a soup and a chicken sandwich. It's pretty much self-service (only a young girl worked there). She did not give us any napkin. I asked for some napkin and she said they didn't have any. I told her that I can't eat this sandwich without a napkin (it's going to be messy). She then gave us a bunch of toilet paper she pulled from the bathroom. We were amazed by her effort trying to help, but also it also ruined our appetite. We ended up took our dinner to-go and ate in our hotel. It was not a good experience after a long, exhausting day when you needed a nice meal. Definitely not recommend this place!

This cafe/restaurant is situated right next for the hotel we stayed in the Reykjavik Lights Hotel
Do not dismiss this place
The food was fantastic service really friendly and helpful
I had the chicken wrap with salad and the salad was the freshest I had tasted for a long time they bake their own bread and make home made humous which is complementary
My wife who is a celiac was given a chicken curry salad which she said was also fantastic
Great value highly recommended
