Enjoyed a quiet night here with a few friends. They had a good selection of drinks available. It is small and cosy place. Well lit. Clean bathrooms. The staff are nice, and they speak English. Can’t see much out of the windows. It’s a shame that that they will be closing at the end of July.

Local beer costs 950kr! Better priced beers are available in town. Nice atmosphere but best enjoyed with coffee and cake.

This is a great place to have breakfast. It's definitely on the higher end price wise and the portions are a bit small.

We had lunch here and then I stopped by with a friend and had coffee and cake. Both times were great, food was very good, service personable and nice. Looks like a busy place but not overcrowded. Cheese plate is great and the sandwiches we tried were so good. It is great place to sit down and rest.

This is a great place to come and take the chill off. When I came to visit, it was busy but not crowded. It looked like place where locals came to hang. It wasn't loud our boisterous, but it was lively and fun. The owner was behind the bar during my visit ( I think his name was David...). He... More

This is perhaps the loveliest cafe in Reykjavik: it has a really warm, homey atmosphere and the staff is friendly and attentive. Their coffee is good and their food, particularly their cakes, are really delicious! It's also a place favored by the locals, too.

Come here for brunch. The food is delicious, the atmosphere cozy, homey, and sweet. Plus, Icelanders suffer from being the world's biggest over-achievers - so everything here is made to perfection. The eggs are huge and fresh. The bacon is so delicious, it will cause a riot, and the pancakes are fluffy and super tasty. Lots of locals haunt the... More

We stopped by here looking for a pre-dinner drink and we pleased to find a lovely lower level wine bar and café. The staff were very friendly, good wines by the glass and a generous size! By chance, it was also happy hour, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I would recommend this place

We stopped by Tiu Dropar for a hot drink one evening and we had a lovely time. The meringue cake I had was delicious and the hot chocolate was tasty and warming. Great atmosphere in this cosy place too and stays open reasonably late if you're looking for place for dessert on Laugavegur.
