We stubbled on this bar on our second evening looking for somewhere to watch the football. The bar looks small from the front but has lots of room round the back of the bar and a few different screens to watch. The staff were very friendly and happy to help, and the food was amazing we went in in time to take advantage of the happy hour 800kr/£4.80 a pint and also enjoyed the burger meal deal offer which was a big juicy burger with plenty of fries and a soda for 1250kr/£7.50 and this offer included any burger on the menu. Definitely recommend the place

Having traipsed all over downtown Reykjavik looking for a meal that you didn’t need to remortgage the house to buy, I chanced upon this bar advertising ALL burgers + fries + soda for 1250kr. Sounded too good to be true but having spent the last 2 hours in the freezing cold I decided to give it a try. The menu actually has the burgers listed for their normal prices 2250kr etc and different prices for different burgers, but staff advised yes it is only 1250 with fries and soda. So ordered and only paid the advertised price. No idea why it is so cheap in comparison to everywhere else in Iceland. The burger wasn’t spectacular but it was reasonable. Note the meat was still pink in the middle. No issues for me but some might not like. Not sure if this was deliberate or accidental. The fries were the real skinny style if you prefer them like that. I prefer fat chips myself. Other menu items at normal prices. I would have given just 3* but I gave an extra * just because of the price.

Go to this place for food and drinks, you won’t be disappointed! We went 3 times in our trip and received excellent service and fantastic quality food every single time we were here. Servers were attentive to our needs. Food was of amazing quality, burgers are second to none, all fresh tasting and served hot.
Even better, all the burgers were on offer when we were here, 1250kr per burger, fries and a soft drink which was great for the quality food we received.
The vibe of this place is fabulous, and well decorated. Beer is lovely!
We cannot fault this place at all! Absolutely fantastic!

We stumbled into this burger joint, because we were so hungry! When we walked in, entire place was full, even the counter. However, they separated one of the table, so we can sit and eat right away. It was bit tight, but we appreciate it very much. Next table customer pointed out the special, which all burgers are $1,250 kr. Thanks to the young men, I went with "Lebowski", which is a standard cheese burger, and my husband ordered "God Father", which comes with mozzarella cheese and parma ham. The price includes drink and fries, also. Overall, it is a fun and easy place to grab a good buger and a pint of beer or two.

My husband and I stopped in here since we kept walking past it all week. We walked in and were sat at a table to the side of the bar area. The place is cool - there's so much to look at! I ordered the burger, fries, and soda special while my husband ordered a beer. For all of that we paid $16 which is after tax and gratuity so it was a great price. The service was good -we got our food quickly. The food was really good too. We like to see how other countries make different kinds of food - so I was curious how we'd like their burger and fries. They were excellent! I think kids would enjoy the atmosphere and the food.

Worth a stop for the decor and to say you visited the Lebowski bar. There's a fair amount of decor from the movie. Make sure to visit the restroom for the interesting cave-like setting and paintings. We made this our first dinner stop for our trip, and it didn't disappoint. We made it just in time for Happy Hour (1,200ISK for burger and fries! A deal!). While they were a bit confused about GF, they served my burger without a bun. Food came out fast and hot. Service at the door was very friendly and attentive. For reviewers that critique service, you need to understand different cultures have different understandings of 'waiting' table side service. We had no complaints here! The chips were delicious - light and airy (so different than greasy American chips). The honey mustard that came with it was smooth and zangy. What struck us as 'odd' was they never asked how we wanted our burgers, but they came out medium. This could be standard. Otherwise, I would recommend a stop here just for the niche experience.

Ate here twice, ordered the veggie burger combo with fries and a soft drink (the fries were enough for 2 of us) and serve hot, a rarity in Iceland where most food comes warm. Over the 2 visits we also had onion rings and jalapeño poppers, both were excellent. Theres also a good happy hour until 7pm where beer is half price. It gets busy and is a diner with lots of TV's but it is good value and good food, so what more can you want?

Absolutely fabulous. Great atmosphere and amazing prices.
We had The Godfather burgers. My daughter is gluten free and her burger came without a bun and was presented beautifully with extra fries. Thank you chef!
All the bar staff were incredibly helpful and I strongly recommend a visit to this bar.

This place is so good , themed around one of my favourite films , they do burgers very well and have a good all day offer of any burger off the menu with fries and a soft drink for 1250 Krona , trust me , this is very reasonable for the quality of food . The White Russians are particularly nice. The staff are great too , we were looked after very well and would make it our first stop if we return to Reykjavík.

If you love burgers, you must visit this bar in the centre of Reykjavik on Laugarvegur. Currently they have an offer for 2 burgers (any from their extensive menu), with fries and a drink for 1250 KR. The burgers are huge and the meals are hot and tasty. The bar is busy and buzzing and the staff friendly and efficient. It is also well known for its excellent choice of vodka's. Do not miss this place!!

Stopped in for a White Russian in honor of "The Dude" and some appetizers. The bar and restaurant itself is so cool. I ordered Nachos, which were very disappointing. In the states, nachos are chips covered with various food items making it a meal in itself. These "nachos" were basically chips and a small container of salsa and queso. The cheese sticks we ordered were very good though. Just don't order the nachos if you're from the U.S., you will be disappointed. The service was very good though.

Visited in January and they had an offer for approx 1300 Kr for burger, fries and a soft drink - best deal we found in the area. The fries weren't anything special, but the burger was lovely!!! Had we been there longer we would have visited again. Very friendly staff and good atmosphere. Visited around lunch time and it was easy to get a table.

On our first night in the town we didn’t want to walk around too long, we saw this place and thought we would try it.
The inside is just as quirky as the outside.
We were seated quite promptly and the other half was happy the football was on!
We ordered to burgers, onion rings and cheese sticks. The guy who took our order said he would bring the sides out as soon as possible to limit the “crap” on the table.
Interesting choice of words, didn’t bother us too much, but it might with other people.
The food ended up coming out all together, which again, didn’t bother us.
All the food was great! Couldn’t make a single complaint about any of it!

We visited here for dinner and a few White Russians....did not disappoint. They have about 15 different flavors of White Russians include a "White Russian of the month" and the Dude's favorite classic. The pub food is really good....at our table we had a veggie burger, a bacon cheese burger, some fries and our kids had milk shakes. I know, I know....why would you have pub food in a city where catch of the day is boss? Nostalgia, plain and simple. It you want to pop in for a drink go for it. It's a really great bar and the staff and service are friendly and fun.

The place looks great and has a cool vibe but that's just surface appeal, beneath it the service was slow and borderline rude, we had to get up several times to track down the staff who were usually too busy talking to each other to help. The food was a mixed bag, one of my friend's loved his but my Smash Burger was incinerated to the point that I couldn't tell which black bit was the beef and which was the bacon and yet it was still leaking grease all over my hands when I tried to pick it up. My other friend ordered nachos and was given a giant basket of chips with only three dip sized pots of guacamole, cheese and salsa, they were used up within seconds, same with the order of fries and mozzarella sticks another friend ordered, we got a giant basket of each, which would have been great if they'd tasted nice, but they didn't. I paid for the nachos, burger meal and four drinks which came to roughly £40, which I'd have been fine with if the food had been any good.
