I have been there multiple times. I really like the burgers and the service is always great. Only downside is the seating options for couples because they seat you in a cramped space, but if you ask for a booth (comfy more private seating) then...you usually get it. But understandably if the place is packet and you made a late reservation you just get what you get. One time I got undercooked meat in my burger and they did everyting to accommidate me and then gave me a huge discount. The overall stay was even nice and i left out the door very happy and satisfied. I have been at fabrikkan at least 15 times last year and I am always satisfied after each visit. And the big one liter beer in a frozen glass is just pure happiness! :)More

We ate here twice when staying in Reykjavik for two nights in the nearby Storm Hotel. Family of four (with 2 teenagers) all provided with very good burger meals (range of options available) served by attentive friendly staff in good seated venue. We couldn’t resist...some desserts with a couple of beers as well. About 23,000kr each time.More

Went one quiet afternoon. Food came out quick. Was tasty. The best burger I had in Iceland. Very expensive by English prices, but on par with Icelandic. Would come again on my next visit

My family spent four nights in Reykjavik round the corner at the fosshotel. We ended up in this great place three nights in a row. The burgers were delicious and cooked to perfection each time, with loads of fries too. You get much bigger portions...than at home for our 11 year old as well. They did special offers with a pint of Boli Beer too. The prices were defo not extortionate and really reasonable - it’s good food so I didn’t mind paying at all. All the young waiters were great cheerful and attentive with a good understanding of English ( I only used Takk) . Such a nice place on the corner of a massive glass tower ! Thanks so much guys. This is a defo recommendation from a working Yorkshire family. Nick, Kerry and Nate 🇬🇧More

Tried this place out for the first time. I ordered one of their most popular burgers. (To take away). "Shouldn't be more than 10 minutes", they said. -I ended up waiting for 40 ❗ minutes. ...for a takeaway burger & cheap-o fries And - it...was severely undercooked (see picture). Hideously expensive as well !More

I am usually not impressed by a hamburger. However Hamburgarfabriken deliver very good hamburgers. If you are hungry, just add one or two extra. Good size of draught beer, 0.5 & 1.0 L.

Hamborgarafabrikkan – Höfðatorg, Katrinartún 2, 105 Reykjavik It may seem crazy for an American to go to a hamburger joint in Iceland, but it worked for us, and it worked out well! We arrived in Iceland at 6 a.m., and after traveling from the airport...in Keflavik to our hotel (Tower Suites) in Reykjavik, we were picked up by our tour guide and spent the next 9+ hours seeing the sights. We were exhausted at the end of the day, and Hamborgarafabikkan is located in the lobby of our hotel’s building, and our friends had given it a great review. Catherine chose the Lamburger: 130g lamburger, garlic grilled mushrooms, cheese, Boston lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, and sauce Béarnaise. Served in a freshly baked potatobun with a very generous portion of delicious, perfectly cooked french fries. It was much tastier than a traditional beef hamburger, and it was cooked according to her directions, and she enjoyed it. I chose the Kim Che Chicken Thigh sandwich, which was a spicy fried & breaded chicken thigh on the same potatobun, with kim che on top, and another generous portion of those tasty fries. It was messy, but delicious. They offer a variety of sauces for your burger, including Bernaise, truffle may, BBQ, etc. They claim that this is the “best hamburger in Iceland”, and we can’t disagree!More

The burger was amazing, the burger had a unique square-shape and the dessert was good, You can get a free bowl of ice-cream on your birthday! Only with payments though, anyway, the restaurant interior was looking NICE! It had a old arcade game as decoration!...Full of posters and great music. You have to try, it was really fun!More

The hamburgers were very good french fries on the average. Always surprised when you have to buy your sauce for the fries as an extra might be the Icelandic away. Enjoy the restaurant burgers run about 3000
