Went here for a late lunch. Service was fast and with a smile. Got my order wrong but the waitress apologized and fixed it very quickly and professionally. The bacon jam is something else! Very good food!

Absolutely fabulous, great food and lovely staff. We had one meat soup and one vegetarian soup, both were hot and tasty

Saw on TripAdvisor that this restaurant had a wide variety of burgers, and as it was closed yesterday for Easter we went today. We walked back out the front door after 30min of standing in a cue for big chaos. There are two ways for guests to come in crossing eachother to come together at two registers and a big... More

Dear Robert M. On behalf of the Hamburger Factory I am deeply sorry for your experience. We will examine this carefully with our team with the purpose of improvement. Our lobby area is quite small and it can get hectic during rush hour but that is no excuse for the lack of communication that you encountered. I am thankful for... More

Wandered in because it was close to our hotel (Storm hotel). From our booth we looked out onto the Höfði house. We had the Big Bo and the Animal Park hamburger (very nice). They came with fries and ketchup, extra condiments/sauce can be ordered. Children get paper and crayons or a kind of tablet to play games on. There were... More

Decided to eat here as it was just round the corner from our Storm Hotel. Service was slow to start with and had to ask to order drinks. After that it was faultless. Burgers were superb 🍔. I went for the spicy Rescue burger, soooo good. My wife had the Miss Reykjavik chicken burger which she loved as well. Would... More

Average burgers, good but nothing to write home about. Staff nice enough, nice inside too. Especially the blue cow in the window

We had heard good things about the burgers here and were not disappointed. The menu had lots of options and variety, especially if vegetarian. The prices were in line with similar restaurants on the city.

I was drawn immediately to the lamp burger. It's prepared very rare, but that's how lamb should be served. The house sauce when you order it with everything is divine. For lamb fans you can't go wrong with this burger.

Food is great! Burgers and fries are on point. Do NOT order the nachos... we are from CA, and used to good nachos, these are not good....jarred/canned ingredients, and no beans (I'm guessing tomato and avocado is prolly hard to grow here, lol)....... However, the burgers and fries are awesome. Price is about average for the area. Beer, wine, and... More

PLEASED TO "MEAT" YOU Ok. You're in Iceland. Probably not for the first time. Not something you do every year, right? You will probably bathe in the Blue Lagoon and take a road trip to Gullfoss and Geysir. That's all well and good. But neither is something you eat. That's why we have 15 brilliant and creative hamburgers at the Hamburger Factory. And they are all perfectly square. Made from 100% fresh high-quality ingredients, directly from Icelandic nature. The Hamburger Factory is Iceland's most innovative gourmet burger chain. Packed with burger-craving customers since its opening in 2010, among the regulars is Iceland's best known fisherman, Eric Clapton. We have three wonderful restaurants in Iceland. The mothership opened in 2010 on the groundfloor of the highest tower in Reykjavík, right opposite Höfdi house. Our second one is in Akureyri, the capital of the north. It opened in 2013 on the groundfloor of the historic Hotel Kea in the heart of the town's center. The third one opened in the spring of 2014 in Icelander's favorite shopping mall, Kringlan. Be sure to stop by before you leave. You will love it. And we will love you back. BE SQUARE AND BE THERE!
