A wood burning oven is essential Authentic Margherita Pizza with mozzarella, Icelandic of course and we are proud of it; fresh Basil, locally grown, dash of olive oil. We make our own homemade sauce, so our customers can be sure they are getting the best ingredients available. We make our own dough. Eldofninn is a Family owned and nurtured restaurant. An open kitchen where you can see the whole procedure. Nothing is hidden, not even the person who does the dishwashing. Truly good pizza, i got the pepperoni basic which just had pepperoni, cheese and mushrooms. The service and pizzas were fast, delicious and big. I had 3 pieces left and it was $20 something plus my beer. My other family members finished and loved their pizzas as well.

Great crusp, thin Italien style. Ok sauce, good topping. Not exactly a fine dinner restaurant, and the service was not very attentive. Two major drawbacks; no desert, NO DESERT :-(. Not even a chocolate. Secondly the wine is kept on high shelfs so you better ask for ice to cool down unless you prefer 25degree temp.

Well, this has been a regular place for us to order pizza even though we don't live in that part of Reykjavik. Takes 20 minutes to drive and there are loads of pizza places in Reykjavik but this one is the best, so make the effort. We keep forgetting that it is closed on mondays.

Okay, the pizza is good, much better compared to some other restaurants, but it's not "best" sorry.
It's coocked in a real WoodOven, that's not usual, the taste is good but just good. What's really good they offer dufferent things to put on the pizza (additionals) and it's very unusual to find here dates, very good... dates on pizza can be really great.
The athmosphere is nice, I like it.
If I want pizza I'll come back, when I'm nearby.

The pizza was nothing special, the dough was soft and a little bit wet.
However the restaurant was cozy, service great and prices seemed low for Reykjavik.

Stopped off after Golden Circle tour following recommendation from our tour guide. Only 5 mins from wherever we were staying so the perfect local pizzeria and it certainly was that. Doing very busy trade at 7pm. Delicious thin crusted bases with super toppings. I had a half and half (rocket, Parma ham and Parmesan, plus anchovies and cheese is and both halves were delicious. It was just was what was needed after a full day out. Thoroughly recommend.

We stopped by for a pizza after seeing a film. It was on the table in just about 10 minutes and tasted deliciously. Thin and crusty.

If I walk into a restaurant that sells calzone I have to order it. That has been my motto for the last 25 years. Luckily I live 3 min from Eldofninn and the calzone is the best in the world I have ever tadted

Went with the family after a nice concert to test this pizza place for the first time. Nice little local pizza place with various pizza options. Some might feel it little crammed as it does not have many seats for guests. They were quite busy when we arrived but we got seats fairly quick. I wish though the seating area was more cosy which would make this place more attractive. We got different pizza for everyone and they were all very good. The only major downsize in my opinion was the price, which I thought was too expensive. For their defence they offered lower price to those who had take-away which is a good concept.
