A wonderful meal in a friendly and comfortable restaurant. The waiter service was excellent. Had three course and it was some of the best food I had during my week in Iceland. The main course of lobster was fantastic and highly recommended.

Table for one was fine, seated quickly despite being very busy. Waiting staff were really good all night, very friendly and happy for me to pay half cash, half card to use up my change. However food... I wanted to have meat soup as I'd been on a ten hour trip with no lunch and fancied something warming and natural.... More

We went here on our first night, having been given a discount card by Hotel Fron next door. The food was delicious, we both had lobster tails with garlic bread. Service was quick and friendly, and they speak very good English. I try to learn the basics of any foreign language before I go, but Icelandic is beyond me! Flippin... More

Omg! They have about the juiciest, freshest burger I've ever had. I ordered the Scandi Burger which has cheese, bacon and all the fix-ins. Very juicy and very fresh tasting. They serve it with a small salad and crispy fries. Order the Bearnaise sauce for the fries! Its a little extra but well worth it. Kinda pricey at about 20... More

I ate here several times during my stay in Iceland. In the mornings they offer breakfast to the people who stay at Hotel Fron. It's a traditional European buffet breakfast, filling, with nice options of meat, egg, and delicious yogurts. For lunch - try their traditional Icelandic Lamb stew -- it was the perfect lunch on a rainy cold day.... More

We both got the three smörrebröd dish, it was just three small pieces of a cheap baguette with topping, we left still hungry. It tasted ok, but i had greater expectations and overall it looked quite cheap for the price.

The food here was very average and not worth the money charged. I had soup of the day which was wild mushroom. It looked excellent and would probably have been superb as the flavour and texture was good but the further down the bowl I got the saltier it became until in the end I had to leave it as... More

We visited this restaurant during our Iceland trip. Walking around in Reykjavik, we noticed this nice Scandinavian restaurant... My girlfriend had the salmon with fries, I had the traditional fish and chips. Save a little spot for dessert, they have very nice chocolate cake! Even though it was very busy, our food got served quickly. Our compliments to the cook... More

Very nice nordic food! The danish smörrebröd are great! They have the classic lun leverpostej (warm livet paté with bacon, mushrooms and rye bread), and also some with an Icelandic touch. They have a nice selection of teas.

We walked by many restaurants and picked this because we wanted Scandinavian food. The food was good, atmosphere casual and comfortable. Not fancy.
