Good food

This restaurant is linked to hotel Fron. Liked the diverseness of the menu. It was a bit on the pricy side.

Walked in by chance on our first night in Reykjavik. The modern, minimalist decor sets the scene for a relaxed, first-class meal. My wife opted for the Catfish which was superb while I chose the pasta with grilled lobster which was absolutely terrific. We chose to share a dessert because we were pretty full and they were absolutely fine with... More

This place was so good we came back twice. Amazing seafood soup that just warmed our souls! Before our meal, we tried the shark and Black Death liquor. Truly revolting and our waiter and dinner neighbors laughed at us! I had the lamb dinner and my partner had the cod. Both delicious! Dessert was the blueberry Skyr. Great place!!

This is a great restaurant, staff is super friendly and attentive your needs. The food is delicious, I strongly suggest the lamb. It's tender, extremely well season and the sauce to deep the meat in it's out of this world. If you read any bad reviews disregard them because they are probably from people that don't know good food and... More

We were actually staying the hotel (Fron) and after looking at a few menus on the main street we came back here for dinner one night. The food was lovely and there were lots of traditional offerings. The service was friendly, although we were slightly neglected at the end. We would have got another drink and desert if we were... More

Our first dinner in Iceland upon arrival, lucky we have decided to come in. We had traditional Icelandic lamb soup & fish of the day (cod) with veg and feta. Both very very delicious and full full full of flavour. We have just ordered some Icelandic blueberry desert...can not wait to like it. Lovely place with friendly staff. BTW, we... More

We came across this resturant because the one we initially planned to eat at was full. The waitress was very friendly and accommodating and the food came out so fast! We knew what we wanted from the menu outside and our meal was practically ready before I got my drink, which was great because we were tight on time. We... More

Went here as our 1st choice was booked out. Pleased we did. Seafood soup and baked salmon were both delicious.

We ate here on our last night and it was certainly a case of "saved the best until last". The whole experience was faultless, the service was great, the food was absolutely delicious and the price was value for money. It doesn't look that interesting from the outside but I'd recommend you give this restaurant a try.

We stumbled in here for lunch on our last day in Reykjavik. The staff were welcoming. My fish soup was hearty and tasty. Only sad we didn't find this earlier in our stay.
