In 2010 a young chef from Húsavík, was awarded Chef of the year 2010 in Iceland.The young chef, Gústav spent months traveling around Iceland looking for the real taste of Iceland, along the way he found a few things that are key items of the interior of the restaurant.Take a look at our menu, it will be our pleasure to fire up the old grill when you honor us with a visit.
We have a great dinner. Try whale and soup - it's really tasty. Portions are big, so be careful - we ordered cod and salmon for the main course (delicious as well), and wasn't ready for this amount of food:)
From the outside this place seems like it is nothing special. Inside however, it is amazing! We have the three course menu’s and wow!! The food was delightful...

Tasted many of the delightful specialties of Iceland, including Hararl (fermented shark - not so tasty) washed down with Brennivin (which was quite tasty). A great experience, good service and fun vibe.
Our air bnb host recommended we come here for dinner and we’re happy we did! Nice atmosphere, attentive and knowledgeable service and we were pleased with the entire experience. Highly recommend the lobster tacos and creme brûlé.
5 people in my family had a week in Iceland for vacation. One of the highlights of the week was our meal here.

Can’t fault the service, but the food was served cold and it was very salty. The beef although was requested (and asked) was served rare was sent back along with my partner’s cold main. My dessert was also wrong so my partner had almost finished...More
