We stopped here for lunch and it was great. The portions are big and very tasty. The service was good, like any place in Reykjavik you must make a reservation for dinner as it is impossible to eat anywhere decent without one. I had the...lobster taco, and my husband had lamb, both very good.More

VIð vorum 6 vinir saman og allir voru sammála um að maturinn og þjónustan væri 10*. Veitingastaðurinn er virkilega cosy. We were 6 friends together and everyone agreed that the food and service was 10 *. The restaurant is really cozy.

As you can see I do not often rate restaurants unless they are truly on a different level. We have just got back from the most amazing meal in Reykjavik. It started with a very friendly introduction from the Maitre D’ and then our waiter...Erlendur gudni erluson or “Eddie” lead us through our meal with a friendly and passionate manner. He offered recommendations on drinks and the menu, all of which were superb. He even went to the trouble of writing down some beers that I should try whilst in Iceland. This restaurant is very friendly priced, If you are in Reykjavik you should definitely try this place.More

Been here for the 2nd time. We had their 4 course menu, cod for starter, lobster tacos for 2nd course, beef and lobster for main and chocolate cake and Skyr ice cream for dessert. Paired with wines. The food taste delicious. We have to mention...that the portions are a bit large for us, especially the main. Perhaps Icelandic people prefer loads of food. The service was excellent. All in all a great restaurant. Prices are cheap compared to other anprdic countries. The price would have been 50% higher in Oslo and Copenhagen.More

During our entire stay in Iceland at these different times, this was the only restaurant that was fully booked. So obviously, very popular among locals. And no wonder; food quality is excellent, but cost isn't all that bad. Book a table!

It was good but a bit hit and miss. First thing to say is that our waitress was excellent. Quite a nice room too. Food wise, I had a lobster maki which seemed to have been deep fried. I thought it may be tempura lobster...then put into the sushi but no. All deep fried which made it heavy as a starter and it was a big portion. That was balanced by the lobster salad I ordered for main but three of us had it and as a result I had a bowl of salad and my wife seemed to have all the lobster.More
