We walked here after visiting the church. Ryan tried the smoked lamb flatbread . The kids shared the pancake plate. They were cold with cream and fruit and sugar. I had the best hot chocolate of my life !

Local cafe offering hot and cold drinks and traditional Icelandic food. We had hot chocolates and tea. Only small so our group of 5 used 2 table up leaving only 3 more. Close to the church so ideal to pop in out of the cold.

Small cafe in a tourist area. Expensive for what you get. Lamb soup was just water with carrots, a few cubes of potatoes and lamb bits. It was the worst soup I ever had. The bread was very pricey at around 400 ISK for a...More

Hello dear customer, I am so sorry about that our Icelandic meat soup was not good that day because we make the soup every day from scratch and it should have lot of lamb, veggies and a flavour. I don’t know what happened that day...More

Reykjavik is not the best city for parking. Most of it is street parking, and you'll need to buy a permit at the kiosk. If you're not impaired, walking is usually faster and less frustrating.

Cafe Loki offer Icelandic meat soup, Icelandic sample plates, homemade bread and cakes. Icelandic traditional homemade dishes are our specialty. You can taste fermented shark and dried fish but Icelandic meat soup and our Icelandic plates are most popular among the Rye Ice cream and Skyr cake. Beautiful view over Reykjavik, Hallgrimskirkja church and to mountain Blafjoll. Icelandic food.
