A delicious dinner- crack bread, fried chicken, and beef carnitas tacos. Everything was delicious and the staff was very nice. They made a bartender's choice mocktail for my daughter and the blueberry mojito was very good. Great fusion food and great atmosphere. Came back later...for dessert!More

We went here for cocktails, beautiful place, friendly staff. I told the bartender what kind of cocktail I wanted in terms of flavour and she recommended and made of the best cocktails I've tried.

We were calabrating a birthday and had asked for a good table, but they put us in front of the kithcen door where there was traffic all the time. A dark and cold corner of the place. The music was terrible, loud techno, alternating between...two songs it seemed, with heavy bass. Rather unwelcoming and rude hostess recieved us but luckily our waiter was nice and polite. Food was lala and the young people were happy, but we will not go there again.More

Very cute restaurant in downtown of Reykjavik, Love the plant decor and the tree inside. The food was delicious and we were celebrating a friend's bday and she received a birthday dessert with candle, which was super cute.

I have never experienced such an unprofessional service in Reykjavik ever before. Waitress tonight was blatantly rude and unprofessional throughout our stay and thanks to her behaviour we forgot the entire pleasant evening we had at punk. The food was very tasty and offered a...wide variety of flavours but prices are pretty steep to the quantity you are being offered. This would have been acceptable if we were treated welcoming and kindly. When asking in my circle they mentioned similar experiences and i would suggest they improve on their staff because food and decor was nice.More

Excellent place for people that love the instagram look. The decor really gives the place a unique look. That being said the food was pretty good. Specially loved their potatoes and the parmesan crisps were very popular with the table. Came with a group of...friends and we were early (17:30) so happy hour was on, which was great. Would highly recommend getting a table early if you can and plan on drinking since it makes the bill quite a bit less expensive.More

First, the restaurant's interior is lovely, with trees and ivy clinging to the roof. It's intimate with moody lighting and has a nice ‘buzz’ as it's popular. The staff are friendly and attentive, too; sadly, this is where most positives end. The food is heavy,...and I think the cheese board may fund the restaurant, given the abundance of the stuff. We started with ‘The Crack Crunch’, fried cheese scraped off a grill and covered in Parmesan served with garlic aioli. Eating was hard work, and you can feel your lifespan shortening with every bite. After the cheese-on-cheese action, we had the ‘Popcorn Tiger Prawn Tempura’. You can never go too far wrong with prawns, but the batter was a bit thick. Decent enough, though, and the best part of the menu. I had the ‘Pünk Signature’ chicken, a deep-fried chicken thigh in a mildly spicy sauce with fries. It was ok, and the chicken was moist but got boring after a few minutes. My wife ordered the ‘Grilled Chicken Salad’. This salad must be the equivalent of a whole shredded lettuce coated in mayonnaise and an inch of Parmesan. It was relentless and wasn't enjoyable. I think this is an excellent place to come for drinks and snacks, but the food was a real letdown.More

This is a really cute and chic/trendy place. Fun music. The drinks were great! Staff is friendly. Only issue is that most of the recommended food is fried and/or drowning in aioli. So, you’re not necessarily tasting the actual food. You could get a steak...that’s not fried…More

Food was average and overpriced. And if you like to pay 3000kr for ice get the coctails...do not recommend And being told by the staff that 99% ice and 3-4 sips of the almost 3000kr coctqil is normal was the icing on the cake 🫠

The food was heavenly, and the service was very good aswell! It was a bit expensive but definitely worth it! The restaurant was very fancy and clean, it is a must-try restaurant in downtown Reykjavík!

Walked into a restaurant named Punk, only to hear bad elevator soft rock. It was a nice looking place, so we decided to give it a try anyway. Then, when we asked about sitting at the bar, the pretentious hostess, we had to wait for...her to seat us even though there were plenty of seats. When she finally got around to it she sat us at a table away from the bar. After looking at the cocktail menu and being thoroughly unimpressed, we left for a friendlier bar.More

Found this place searching on line for somewhere to eat in Reykjavik and glad we did. Really pretty and quirky restaurant. The staff are very friendly and helpful offering recommendations on drinks and food. Also gave us complimentary tortilla chips and homemade hummus which was...a nice touch. We had tacos- tuna and chicken and a couple of sides. All were delicious as were the drinks. I’d highly recommend and would def go back if in Reykjavik again.More

Would highly recommend Punk if you're in Reykjavik. It's one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever visited and the food and cocktails were amazing. It's fairly expensive but everything in Iceland is, so comparatively it's mid to high-range. I'm a vegetarian and my boyfriend...isn't, and we both had absolutely amazing dishes. Great service despite it being very busy. Very good bars nearby too.More
