Nice decorated place, food is average but service was just horrible" The staff made you feel like they "know what is best for you" even though trying to explain your preference - she argued with me the whole time. She asked me how I like...my food after I send it back. She then told me that I should have told her that in the beginning (which I did - like for 10 minutes). I then just lost my appetited. The staff was in such a rush, like they wanted us out of there before sitting down. They didn't even offered a discount, after all the mistake and it was just unpleasant over all. Downtown Reykjavik has a lot of better restaurants - I don't recommend this place (take it from a local) ! Music was as well to loud!More

Maybe it’s because of covid but the quality was not good. The food arrived cold (after waiting 50 minutes) the lobster tempura and cauliflower tempura came cold and soggy. The beef tenderloin also arrived cold and the vegatables were dry. French fries arrived in a...paper bag (to go) and and the sauce was also in a plastic in a to go container. When we spoke to the staff they didn’t even apologize and we had to ask for a discount. The food and cocktails were good except for the fact that it was cold and the long waiting. Costumer service was not the bestMore

Visited yesterday, ordered 2 beers, one Ulfur, one other local beer, priced 1,390 each, we were charged 3,300,almost £20 for 2 beers. Price should be what is on the bar list.

We arrived right on time for our 8pm reservation and were asked to wait for our table. We were a party of 5 celebrating two of my friends 25th birthday. When we got to the bar we heard the manager say “make sure you ID...these kids” and pointed at us. I mean thank you for thinking we’re younger than we are but that was so unprofessional to yell that in front of us. I decided not to order a drink because of this. We then waited for approx 45 minutes for our table and no one updated us during that time, now offered to let us look at the menu while we waited. The tables are so strangely set up that the waiters don’t even know which table is which. We got another tables order 4 times and had to send it back. When we asked for the bill I also asked for a sparkling water. The water hadn’t come after 20 minutes and when I asked the waitress she said the bar was busy and it would come soon, I didn’t have time to wait for another 20 minutes while the bartender got around to opening the glass bottle for someone to bring it to me so we skipped it. We will not be visiting punk again, not recommending it.More

Great food, drinks and service. Had flatbread and hummus as starter, selection of tacos for main, skyr and blanco mousse for dessert. Every dish well presented and very delicious. Service very friendly and music fitted the place very well.

The place is nice, interesting decoration choices. The food was good, we tried different tacos, guacamole and the "Crispy potato salad" is definitely good. For dessert, the "Skyr and blanco mousse" was below my expectations, specially regarding the presentation. Good selection of wines, not so...good on beers. In the negative side, the music was too loud, specially being a selection of disco music from the nineties. It may fit the ambient the restaurant pursues, but it is too annoying. I go to restaurants to have dinner, not to dance.More

Had dinner on a friday night. The tacos were good but the music was very loud. We arrived around seven at night and by nine when we left it was almost impossible to speak to each other because the music was so loud.

The food is interesting and good and they have a great cocktail list. However the attitude of the staff turned a pleasurable meal into a rather unpleasant one. Upon arriving at 17:30, we were given a specific table as the one I would have preferred...was booked again at 19. Yet, we were asked to leave at 18:50 and discouraged from ordering dessert. This is despite them knowing that we were going to the theatre at 19:30 so clearly we would leave rather quickly. In retrospect, the whole experience felt like they just wanted to get you out as quickly as possible. Fine for a quick tasty meal, but I will not return as I prefer a relaxing meal where you feel welcome and Reykjavik has plenty of that.More
